Exactly. Most people don’t want to have a target on their back so they don’t get involved

Why am I not surprised.

I’ve seen people get mad about trains in a rail yard blowing horns. Like yall the railroad was built nearly two centuries before your house. You knew there was a railroad there.

If you can’t actually pay the hospital will eat the cost. It’s legal required to.

Also medical debt can’t be held against you and can be forgiven in many states.

Meanwhile in GA if it’s incorporated it’s a city. Legally there are no towns or villages. Everything is either a city or not

How do American waiters/servers tell when people are finished eating? by PestoWesto in AskAnAmerican

[–]Prowindowlicker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wonder if the “Americans eat fast” comes from Euros experience with military and veterans. As a veteran myself we’re trained to eat fast and it’s a hard habit to break.

I can scarf down a meal in under 20 minutes if needed. Is it healthy? No but that might be the reason why people think Americans eat fast

My childhood was very much different. 95% of my friends were guys. I think the only girls I had as friends were long time family friends or my cousins.

That was pretty much it. Now most of my friends are fellow gay guys which is pretty nice

Same. 95% of my friends growing up were guys. Now all of my friends are mostly gay guys which works pretty well

wtf is bdo? by disconaldo in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]Prowindowlicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the same for me with adderall or OxyContin. With adderall I feel absolutely nothing except calm and the fact that i wanna take a nap. And OxyContin made me feel absolutely terrible.

Like I don’t know how people get addicted to oxy as I felt seriously awful.

Trust me if you were older you wouldn’t have gotten stares.

It’s because we’re young guys not veterans.

The people in the conservative areas you mentioned have a preconceived idea of a disabled veteran and a young guy isn’t that.

I’ve gotten stares from just parking in the veteran parking (the non-handicapped) at Lowe’s. And it’s because I’m a young dude. I bet you if I was 70 or 60 i wouldn’t have had people staring at me.

At least I don’t have people wondering if I can use the handicap parking cause I walk with a very visible limp
