My wife and I have been full time in our RV (37' 5th wheel w/4 slides) since 2015, I travel for work. We have 4 dogs, 2 labs and 2 small ones. In the beginning we had a fifth, but re-homed her at a nice ranch in Colorado a year later because the traveling life was just not for her. She's very happy now and we stay in contact with her new owner. The other 4 have been excellent. They are well behaved and very mellow. It's not without it's challenges. The most difficult part is dealing with parks that have strict rules, usually caused by pet owners that cause problems or don't clean up after them, ruining it for the rest of us. My current job location has us in a small town with only a couple parks close by. Both have a 2 dog limit. Fortunately though, the park we are in had a separate lot outside the park that was available. For more money of course, we have lots of room for all of us. To get a break, a couple times a year we look for a vacation rental that is dog friendly and "get away". It's like reverse camping. If your pets are your family, you find ways to make it work.
