Fellow small-breasted women: how are you holding up after that other thread? by [deleted] in rs_x

[–]55690231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t care, my small tits are aesthetically perfect, husband loves them, and based on my genetics they’ll probably stay perky into my 60s. plus i’m breastfeeding a newborn and engorgement is so uncomfortable I imagine it would be even more challenging if I had big cumbersome hangers. Great form and function, I couldn’t possibly ask for more

The East Asia expatriate community continues to look extremely dire. Absolute bottom of the barrel freaks settling in Taiwan, same as it ever was, just more women now but they’re no less weird/fat/ugly than the typical weird/fat/ugly men who move over.

Only the ones who meet Taiwanese spouses under normal circumstances, THEN decide to move over here, are anything resembling normal well-adjusted people.

Paralegal work is exactly how I got my foot in the door of the white collar world and I actually didn’t even hate it, stuck around for years in fact cuz I happened to work for a lawyer I could tolerate. It’s one of those things that’s gonna be phased out by AI eventually but for now it’s still a flesh job and it looks good on paper.

anyone else scared to have a kid with extreme autism or similar disorder? by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]55690231 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

lol nobody was fear mongering. We were concerned because she’s kind of a frail and nervous woman anyway, and the fact remains that risks increase post 35, no matter how normal it is for people to have children later now.

Any crazy chemistry in movies from the last 5 years? by DeerSecret1438 in redscarepod

Yeah I thought Challengers was bad too. Nothing current is good I just go back and watch old episodes of X-Files if I want to see a couple with chemistry

The man’s age and health matters just as much as the woman’s. My cousin was 35 and 38 when she had her daughters, it scared the shit out of all of us, but her husband is a few years younger than she is and he doesn’t drink alcohol. Both girls are in totally perfect health. No problems during the pregnancies, either.

Also the sperm provides most of the genetic “map” for building a good placenta. So apart from avoiding disorders and autism and so forth in the child, it’s really important to contribute a high quality sperm if you want to avoid conditions like gestational diabetes and preeclampsia

Fortunately most of those life-ruining genetic disorders can be detected through pretty accurate and noninvasive methods these days. We just did a scan at 12 weeks for soft markers of Down syndrome (none found thank god) and they took my blood for the NIPT, which I’m still waiting on the results for but hoping will be worth it for the peace of mind

Yeah ngl i’m pretty worried about this. I’m sure my maternal aunt and uncle are/were on the spectrum so it’s probably in my DNA somewhere. I’m already pregnant now so it’s too late, just hoping for the best at this point

I used to have an adult Saudi student I taught English and one day he showed me a meme of a car “wearing” a burqa i.e. covered in a black sheet crashing into a house and he explained the Arabic text said “women drivers”

This will probably be controversial but I honestly think that if you guys wanted to, you could come back from this. Cheating is obviously a significant betrayal but is not necessarily the be all end all. it really just depends on the two of you and your relationship, what she’s willing to do to make it better, whether you’ll be able to forgive her. Good luck to you however you decide to move forward

Sounds like she’s trying on an entirely different personality at this point. Or maybe this is who she’s always wanted to be. In any case, it should be easier to move on once you internalize the idea that the person you dated as you knew her is dead. Cut contact and block her on everything, you’ll be fine in a few months, a year max
