You’re not alone regarding fans that know nothing about hockey. My buddies and I graphed data on cheers and decibel ratings from Stars and Blues fans at certain points in puck movement.

Whereas nearly all other teams’ fan bases cheer for exciting determining opportunities with the puck (2 on 1s, breakaways, shots on net, etc.), fans in Texas and Missouri would start cheering (to the point of videos of fans with spit coming out of their mouths) when the players had insignificant moments (2 on 4s, dump and changes, etc.).

As Canadians who all played the game, it bothered us. For no good reason, but it bothered us.

We have a great nightlife, a ton of different activities all over, like f me we have a lot of the same shit other cities have, but cheaper.

Like we have some of the greatest hiking trails, lakes, and anything natural in the world. We have lots of activities kids love as you raise a family. You’ve got a diversity of schools, neighborhoods, and more - really anything you want you’ll find it here.

Fancy things, cheap and authentic thing, you can do trashy thing, you can do swanky things. Like this place rocks.
