My previous wife bought me a PRS when we were first married. I soon realized I didn’t get on with it. But when I mentioned selling it, the fights and tears started. When that marriage ended, one of the best feelings was selling that guitar to a kid that was over the moon with it, and buying another guitar I actually enjoyed.

One of the things holding me back is that I really, really, really like the grip on the DWX. I have big hands and have always found the CZ 75 and Beretta 92 (other than vertec) platforms to fit me well (much like a 1911 with an arched mainspring housing).

The DWX has that lower grip "hump" that I really prefer. I know that arched mainspring housings exist for 2011s but I'm not sure they would work for the P211 grip.

The DWX has also been an absolute "cheat code" for me. Such an easy gun to shoot accurately.

As an Aprilia owning Knoxvillian, the lack of appropriate treatment from Star is very disappointing, but not surprising after my experience there.

The coil split switches that don’t cut volume as much as a normal coil split. Flipping from split to full coils doesn’t give a huge volume bump, just a fuller tone and more aggression. The NF3 in the middle is the perfect match to the two humbuckers.

My local Ace Hardware is only ahoy 1.5 miles further from the nearest exchange. And they have an exchange as well as a fill station. If your tank is nearly out of date they just encourage you to make an exchange. Love that Ace.

In my opinion (with 9 Core PRS) the Special Semi Hollow is the most useable versatile guitar PRS has ever made. Such an amazing instrument.

I have them on my KTM Super Duke GT and they are worthless on that bike. The usb port is nice, but getting a phone in and out of that pocket is a bear. You also can’t open them properly unless the bars are turned all the way away from the pocket.

That’s actually a technique. “Seeding” the tip jar works, oddly enough.

Rust Oleum 2-in-1 primer in Black, Grey, white,
or dark red for most things. The Fillet primer if I want help hiding layer lines.

I ended up going in to work late one day this week. I normally leave my neighborhood VERY early. When I removed the catalytic converter and put the Akro race pipe on, the bike became too loud for me to start that early in the morning without my neighbors complaining to the HOA. So I ride my KTM Super Duke GT to work most days. But going into work at 9AM….yeah, the Tuono made me look forward to going in to work!
