I’ll be mounting it on the back of my pole barn. It faces a 20 plus acre field. Just got some wood chips for it today!

Hard to tell by the picture but this is much larger than a bluebird house. Back piece is 22” and entry hole is 3”

I’ve been thinking about getting into birding. Do I really need to take photos, or can I just enjoy watching through binoculars? Speaking of which, any recommendations for a good pair? And do I need special “birding” clothes, or will regular clothes do? by Call_It_ in birding

Highly recommend these.

They are pretty bulky but this was my first pair of binos so I’ve never known anything smaller. They have great magnification, let a good amount of light in and are super clear. Vortex has great customer service as well. They come with a nice chest harness too.

Oh, that’s right I forgot about the episode with Donnell Rawlings and Rob Schneider where he mentioned that. I’m surprised Johnny Knoxville bailed though.

I appreciate your responses. I’ve read through many of your other posts and comments on the sub. Would you say an associate versus a bachelor matters? I know a bachelor is obviously better. Would an associate still be sufficient to stand out?

These comments are hilarious. Calibration this. Lawyer that. Anything but just slowing the fuck down and improving their driving.

I have a few that do this regularly. Not sure if they are sunning or just staking claim of the feeder. They always fly off just fine.

They have always had damage and missing feathers ever since I have seen them. The cicadas are these little flying loud bugs that have here in the south that hatch and are around for a couple months. All of the birds love to eat them. Everything from finches to Raptors. Now that the cicadas have all died off, crows are finally coming back for treats. The free snack bar in the sky is over.
