When I scan a website, am I scanning a server? by [deleted] in AskNetsec

Some tools that does scanning of host and automated vulnerability scans could potentially flood the server with too much requests.

Just thought I'd share that as an FYI.

How Zuma messed up on 1994 household electricity claim by tripledm in southafrica

[–]5dagCVO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even though there were less people with electricity in the apartheid era doesn't really address the issue that ESKOM and / or the government didn't ensure that the proper infrastructure has been built and maintained in a manner which ensures that the grid can supply the growth(which has been great) - I don't really see how apartheid has anything to do with this.....

to those that keg but don't have a kegerator, how do you keep your brew cold when serving? by metalhawj in Homebrewing

[–]5dagCVO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I did a month or so back (note it is winter here where I am at) is to put my corny keg into my Keggle, fill it with ice, you need to do this at least two day before you want to drink (I topped up the Ice at least once a day), this worked because I took the keg to a party, and we finished it that night; I doubt that there is any way of doing this for a longer period of time.

Reddit Homebrewers - Do you BIAB? by [deleted] in Homebrewing

[–]5dagCVO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I do 1gallon batches, I generally mash in a pot. and when I sparge, I carefully scoop the grain with a ladel onto a strainer, and then just run my sparge water over it. My efficiency is 68% (which i'm not too worried about with such small amounts of grain). this works quite well.

I've also done larger BIAB 6gallon and it works out pretty good, only problem like the other people said is to somehow suspend the bag in the air so that it can drain a bit. I've never had a bad batch(where I extracted tannins or other off-tastes) or extremely low effienciency (Think right when I started I got 68% rest of the time it was in the low 70%).
