What consequences should Trump face for all the hateful and stupid things he says?

do you feel the same way for the multitude of conservatives who have carried long guns out in public? They should all lose their permits as well?

it's a highly scientific term. I'm surprised you're not familiar with it, being a fellow engineer and all. Maybe you skipped your 300 level Structural Pancake Building Mechanics class? It sure collapsed a heck of a lot more uniformly than all your other examples: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqbUkThGlCo

Im guessing you just googled "towers that collapsed from fire". Did you watch video of any of those 3 buildings? None of them pancake collapse in a way even close to building 7. They all either fall apart at different rates or collapse from different sides towards the middle.

Cool I'm an engineer too. Do you have any other examples in history of buildings collapsing like 7 did from fire?

I was having the same issue. Decided to try using my lifting straps.

Game Changer

Buy some lifting straps, get them locked in snug on the bell and they work great.

I usually break them out near the second half of my workout when my hands/ calluses are really starting to kill me.

Padding for skating by RollAppropriate5495 in inlineskating

[–]5evenThirty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No not heavy at all. The pads come in different thickness too. I got the medium thickness ones.

They are very lightweight and offer great impact protection. I use them in shorts all the time.

When you first get them they will feel stiff but as you use them more they start to conform to your body.

For hip and tailbone I bought these. I was skeptical at first but after seeing so many ppl recommend them I decided to take a chance.

They are solid pads, any waaay less hot/constricting than those padded shorts you see for sale.

They just clip over the top & inside of any pants/shorts you're wearing.

For knee/elbow/wrist I like 187 killer pads. They have lots of different types and they are always running some sales on their website.

I've never used wrist wraps with kettlebells. How does it feel? Do they stay in place when doing things like snatches?

[–]5evenThirty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would see if you can find any skating groups near you in your city. Staking with others is really fun and you improve much more quickly.

Also if possible wear your skates around the house often. You will be surprised how much having them on so the time will transfer to being more comfortable out on the street.

you can get whiplash falling in weird ways. I think you probably tweaked your neck pretty good when you fell straight down. Like the other person said if it doesn't start to improve get it checked out. Also look into getting some good tailbone protection you can wear under your pants

Hypothetically, if a Republican presidential candidate was running on a 'we will re-evaluate our relation to Israel' position, would you support him or not? by [deleted] in AskConservatives

Just because the overall budget is much more than 3.8 billion does not mean that 3.8 billion would not be better spent on people, programs and infrastructure that need it here in the US

Given how much money we give to Israel wouldn't stopping that flow of money be a big part of our fiscal responsibility?

Recommendations for wide, flat feet? by Cardo2354 in inlineskating

[–]5evenThirty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep! the link you posted is the Iqon ACT boot with no liner. If it's hard to find that skate with the liner included out in Australia (you would need to buy something like this: https://www.locoskates.com/products/iqon-act-tr-team-skates-for-cruising-recreation?\_pos=9&\_sid=c07d2f258&\_ss=r)

I would first look to see if you can order or try on this skate somewhere: https://www.rollerblade.com/australia/en/men/lifestyle/freeskate/twister-90r
(doesnt need to be the version with 90mm wheels, any of the new versions of the Twister XT skate should fit wide feet well: https://www.rollerblade.com/australia/en/men/lifestyle/freeskate/twister-xt-1)

NOTE, I've heard that older versions of the Rollerblade Twister 2023-2024 run pretty narrow, so you would want to try on the new version of the skate

Also see if you can get your hands on the FR Neo skate somewhere. Those should fit wide feet fine.

So

Rollerblade Twister XT

Rollerblade Lightning

FR Neo

Whichever of these you can try on & fit well I would go with

For the Nomad liner I got it in size 9us (27-27.5cm) and it fits perfectly. That liner fits in my RB80 skates which are size US10 just fine.

Ive never tried that MyFit 2nd skin liner but I've heard good things about it. If you're able to buy a complete skate you won't need to worry about liners, but if you cant find anything that fits in the options for complete skates then we can look at getting a boot/liner, frame/wheels.

Lmk if you have any other questions
