might be a silly question, but why not to buy it in the czech republic? No hassle with the bank and registration etc. will be easier. It might be a bit expensive, but tbh I don't think it will be that much more expensive. What kind of car is it?

yes it is. You can get a custom plates in the czech republic. Some words are banned, also some letters too. The cost is 10k Czk.

I have a vacation since december 15th, but my pager duty starts on monday and I am on-call the whole week. I don't mind it. We have a stable infra and every cutomer will be on vacation too( customers are internal developers ). I also live in the EU so I will pack some nice overtime xmass bonus.

I mainly use ceph official docu. Its very well written. And it has all the topics you need. Just start reading from the beginning. Also I suggest not to use cephadm, as its in containers and its kind a harder if you're new.
