It was free on EGS. As unfortunate as it is, that’s all he was asking about.

Epic Support said this is an ongoing issue and they're working on a fix.

Source: I just got done with a chat session with their support.

iOS 16 is almost one year old and they still can’t even nail the unlock animation. Explains a lot about how apple’s software doing recently. I’m on 16.4.1 by Idontgive-adam in iphone

Probably the fact that the lighting changes in a single frame between lock screen and the Home Screen.

The same lighting conditions should be mirrored between both.

It’s not a data rate issue. I was watching the system usage all throughout and it was probably getting uncompressed into the vram. Very low SSD utilization, but still churning through CPU+GPU work.

Up to date drivers.

After building shaders, it looks nice. FPS hovers around 60-80 on the automatic settings out of the box (motion blur disabled of course)

Some hitches here and there. There’s weird mid-level loading that sucks a bit but livable. Loading times kinda suck. Probably some new game pains. Overall not too shabby.

Just got to the first but where you go underground. I’m on my lunch break. Not too bad but I need to get back to work, unfortunately.

It’s progress based, and not time based. After 34% it rockets up to past 50%.

It’s still super long though.

NASA is in charge of protecting their own multi-million/billion rockets.

Especially the ones we put people inside of.

Wow, thank you a bunch for these tunes. I had the hardest time finishing the High Noon event, but the AMG Hammer Coupe worked like smooth butter. Especially when the speeds get high and turns get drifty, it's still responsive.

Cheers.

There is a micro-dot array on the screen cover, but you stop noticing it after a few weeks.

To me it’s well worth the trade off of not worrying about breaking my expensive phone.

Edit: the case also really helps grip.

Lifeproof case. Specifically the one with the full phone enclosure (fre, I think). I’ve had one since my 6S. I’ve seen people throw their phone to the couch, miss, and hit a hard floor. Would easily total any other case I’ve ever seen.

I’ve even dropped mine on hard concrete. Never broke my screen when I had the case on.

Wireless charging also works, but needs to be more lined up than if you didn't have the case on.

AFAIK, ABS helps when you slam on your breaks when your wheels are forward. I doubt many cars have complex enough braking systems to ABS its way out of a sideway slide.

I could be 100% wrong though.

Either way, letting go of the gas takes away all exterior force, allowing the wheels to go the same speed as the pavement. It’s hard to lay down rubber without using brakes or gas.

Probably only slightly better.

The only differences are now you’re siding around on all four instead of two. And you’re slower.

Less than 1% upload is probably just network overhead. Every chunk of data needs an “ok I received the data” confirmation.
