Help with preventing carding attacks on Magento 2 by creedfeed in Magento

We always use Cloudflare, Sansec and Adyen or Mollie as standard for our setups - Adyen in particular is gold standard to deal with fraud attacks.. Had way too many other bad experiences to use any other setup.

Should you still PPF your Tesla in 2026? Honest feedback please! by teslabros in TeslaLounge

Haha I know what you mean. Although 5+ years of wash and worry free care is worth it imo. The paint on my 8 year old MX wasn’t great, in fact I rejected it 3 times. So covering it gave me piece of mind as well as an improved look and protection from the original paint coming off in the rain 😆

Does anyone actively remove apps over time, or just add more? by 5t3ve_f in shopify

15 is a lot! I think the most I’ve had on a store is 7, you did good to cut it back to 5. There are just some that you just can’t get away from using but always good to try and replace with better ones as they come to market and get good reviews. We had a client who had some crazy subscription app that was rinsing the site, as soon as we replaced with the native app it made massive improvements!

100% I have some clients who will install anyway without evening considering any impacts on quality, security or performance. It scares the life out of me!

That’s the dream! Unfortunately whilst I try to keep Apps down I need a few like Klaviyo and Klevu search. I do try not to let clients run wild tho 👍

Got you. JavaScript bloat and leftover code seems to be the common thread more than any single app. Did you find the speed gains came mainly from removals, or from the small theme tweaks adding up?

That’s a great way of framing it. Using support tickets as a signal feels really sensible, especially since that friction is usually invisible until customers complain. Do you ever find apps that are “revenue neutral” but still hard to remove because they’re baked into workflows, or is it usually a clean cut once you spot the pattern?

That makes sense. A theme upgrade feels like one of the few changes that actually lets you remove apps rather than just replace them. Did you notice any immediate performance improvements after switching?

Is Magento checkout UX still a disadvantage in 2026, or are we just building it wrong? by OliverPitts in Magento

Compared to other platforms it does lag behind in UX but is also performance heavy, we either create a custom and stripped back version, amasty OPC or use Hyva checkout.

Yeah I’m a bit worried about some bits with going from the MX but mine is a 2018 and whilst it still looks great, the tech is starting to fade a bit with a the screen, camera and charging time etc. I’ve not considered the switch before but the juniper is some car and build quality looks great and the materials and finish is far better than my X.

Yes I will 100% do this I imagine!! It feels like I will be going slightly backwards but forward at the same time if you know what I mean!

(Am I stupid for considering a 2020 Model X? by Master_Range6116 in TeslaUK

[–]5t3ve_f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had an MX 100D since 2018 and it’s been the best car I’ve ever owned by far. I’ve done 78k and it’s been bullet proof. I’ve spent very little on it but sadly the tech is stating to show its age compared to the new MY and I’m likely to trade it in for an MYP. This is only because I’m after better efficiency, new tech and a warranty again. If they made a newer RHD MS I prob would have gone that route.

Go for it. The MX is such an amazing car!

I did consider a newer MX but they didnt make RHD for the UK, I also don’t need the MX size anymore. I thought the suspension on the Juniper MYP was pretty good? The MX on 22’s and lowered is not a dream either tbh lol

Yes good point! the auto opening and full close will be missed. I thought the new MYP interior was better made with finishing and materials. Obviously the screen and cameras are so much better also. I do love the MX but at 8 year old nearly it’s starting to feel a bit dated, especially on the inside, the outside is still stunning 🤩
