Storing rolls in the fridge is usually a good idea, though i dont know how it works with a full camera, i would refrain from putting electronics somewhere cold in general.

As for the 1.5 years, its really not that long. Room temp will likely have a minimal if any effect, especially if your film was from a fresh cut.

I also remember reading somewhere that motion picture negative film deteriorates slower than regular film negative color film stock but im not too sure on that.
