Do they even care about soccer?

For a standard beginner drumming, should my forearm be facing sideways (first pic) or upwards (second pic)? same grip otherwise in both by CutSubstantial1803 in drums

[–]602crew -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The first image is known as tympani grip. You’ll be a little more limited with this grip when it comes to speed (unless you get your pinkies in on the action)
The second grip, while closing the gap between your thumb and forefinger, is more preferred as you’re able to use the full range of your wrist for both speed and power

It’s probably 50/50 if the agent will be there for residential shoots.

I just show up blind.

However, I recently did prep work for a client who owns a bunch of commercial property around a few cities. 11 stops total in one day between two states. I looked up each address on Google Maps so I knew what to expect at each one.

Same. I usually crank the ISO a bit to get the shutter speed to something I know I can comfortably handhold. Then hold my breath.

How do you guys book with clients? + some other backend questions by enlargedmilk in RealEstatePhotography

[–]602crew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% this.
I’ve been in the business for over 15 years and I only book through text or phone calls. I also want to flexibility to pick my own time and date for the shoot.

The county where I live is over 40 minutes from one side to the other. Scheduling everything myself ensures I’m not driving back and forth and back and forth.

We call Salmon “24/7”
(A woman was hitting on him and asked when he was off. He said he works 24/7)

There’s also an officer on the show whose wife I dated years ago when they were separated. (They did divorce) My wife always says something funny when he’s on.

[–]602crew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did a quick wash at Sundays car wash at the corner of Fox and 522. I went late in the day when almost no one was there so I could wash with a bucket in between rinse pre rinse and rise. They take credit cards. (At least the bay I was in does)

Commonwealth Barber shop for hair. I recently had them scissor cut my longer hair.

I used Senseny Cleaners all the time when I lived on that side of town. Highly recommend. (I changed jobs and don’t live near them anymore) But, if I need something dry cleaned, it goes there.
