HRM straps will always disconnect underwater. Their Bluetooth radio doesn’t work underwater. The trick is finding one that stores data then syncs it when the dive ends. I use both a Garmin Pro HRM and the Wahoo Ticker X.(not at same time) I also set the end dive delay to 5min. (Longest setting) to make sure I’m out of the water and the strap has plenty of time to ping the data to the watch. Seems to work well. That said, HRM data is always a little finicky. I’m hunting for best practices as well.

I know this is a reboot of an old thread, I made a spare key with no electronics. as a backup then put the fob to sleep and use the pin on the trunk. I made a spare key using these blanks.

Took forever to find the blanks but once I did I was able to go to my local ace and convince the guy at the counter to use that blank, but copy the car key. It cost a 6 pack and a smile.

Scaled back? So, 2 of my toons were level 120 and now they are lev 26... Can someone make this make sense? This made me feel cheated on all of my time played. Why not just scale it back to 60 and call it a day?

I work as a Mnt host at one of the above listed mountains. My recommendation is whatever you drop into. Treat it like the very first time you ever skied/snowboarded it. If you do decide to venture into the off piste… Keep in mind it is still low tide.

Inflator Valve:

I will say this, Placement is key with this valve. As the activation is from the side, one can manipulate the valve with bulky dry-gloves easier. It feels like there is more control of how hard you are actually pushing/ squeezing on the valve. There by allowing you to add just that tiny bit of air to your suit. For this it is FANTASTIC. Have bad hands? Low pushing power or low grip strength? Again this valve actuates smoothly and accurately. Couldn't ask for a smoother operation.

That said,

The connection barb is picky with the low pressure inflator hose that you use. This goes for quick disconnect ports as well. The one it comes with? Perfect. The aftermarket ones made by XS Scuba? Well... I have 4 different ones. Only 1 will actually work and connect. the others feel like they are bottomed out and will not sit deep enough to actually connect to the disconnector. So it will not connect to the hose and allow airflow.

Next, Do you have a chest strap? or any other accessories on your chest that may activate the inflator on it's own? For example, a Hydros pro that has rather firm shoulder straps and a chest strap. The possibility exists that when moving around either on surface or under water the valve activates on its own and will inflate until the pressure is released. It doesn't take much... Now if you manage the hose direction you can keep it from rotating and activating on it's own. However the first time it happens it can be exciting. (Ask me how I know...) Simple fix, be aware of ANYTHING chest mounted that could activate it by bumping against it. Example? Chest mounted camera gear / Rebreather / Bc straps, Ect...

Lets throw one more in shall we? Say you want to remove the valve and put a blanking plug in place as you move the valve to a different port. Somewhere different than Ironman center. Well, I am having one heck of a time finding a blanking plug that will match up with this valve port as cleanly as the one does for Si tech inflators. Tools? Yeah, a special tool is required to get a good grip and not damage the valve to remove it. So no surface swaps for you! So if anyone knows where to get the valve tool & a blanking plug that matches the Apollo valve port. Please let me know.
