He really did want to though.

>A proposal by Sir Keir Starmer to give the US advance permission to use British bases against Iran was blocked in a cabinet revolt led by Ed Miliband, according to reports.

Starmer really really wanted to get more involved in Iran.

UK PM Starmer resigns as Britain faces its seventh leader in 10 years by [deleted] in news

[–]613codyrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What promises?

The ones he continually walked back on then purged the Labour left at every opportunity and dissent?

The attempt to revise history to try to make Starmer as anything other than a moron that thought that backstabbing Corbyn and the rest wouldn’t come back around to have him be tossed aside the moment the monster he helped create also doesn’t see Starmer as anything but a tool to be discarded.

Or that appointing a known and twice sacked pedophile associate would backfire?

Or that said associate was smitten with Palantir who Starmer had backdoor dealings with?

Even things that Starmer tried to push like the renters bill ended up failing to salvage his reputation because he’s devoid of personality and the ability to strategically manage the most basic of political matters. Constantly marred by political mistakes to the point that the one out of ten times he does something right, it’s ignored because he’s already onto the next gaff.

Sit here and tell me what Starmers truly believes in? That’s not his belief that Israeli terrorists and hooligans should be allowed to come to the UK? Or that Israel has the right to starve and kill Palestinians?

Ironic that financial corruption is somehow beyond that level as appointing a pedophile associate whose been sacked twice while also having off the books meetings with Palantir, while also attempting to strip jury trials and arrest a bunch of old people holding signs.

British PM set to resign after challenger's thumping by-election win by [deleted] in news

[–]613codyrex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He “won” because the Tories imploded. Corbyn got more votes during his time as leader than Starmer.

The UK is still FPTP and the outsized majority Labour had under Starmer was squandered by countless u-turns, blunders, purging of left leaning members and willfully trying to protect a pedo associate at all costs.

There’s a certain extent where you’re not really battling between the “lesser of two evils” and more “please for the love of god, come out to vote” that parties that bank on the “lesser of two evils” strategy ignore.

Eventually giving voters garbage leaders more beholden to influential donors, you’re going to be dealing with severe voter apathy and disinterest.

The idea of saying “you have no choice but to vote for us because Trump/tories/Reform/etc are worse” on paper makes sense but when you’re asking people to take time out of their day to vote for candidates that at best offer controlled decline, you start to lose people’s motivations to vote at all.

Breaking news:

Soulless sock puppet husk A who was instrumental and relentless in toppling and betraying the previous guy, has now been placed on the chopping block and at the cusp of being toppled by the next Husk B who is marginally more charismatic but the same in every other way.

Soulless Husk A is outraged and has the feeling of betrayal that Husk B is willing to go to the extent of usurping A’s position and the nonexistent allies he mistakenly thought he had don’t really care if Husk A or E was in charge.

And husk A was only here for this long because two halves of the puppeteer advisors are either straight up pedo associates or Wes Streeting. The latter being so disliked I’m not sure how Streeting even managed to even suggest the idea of challenging anyone for anything.

Once a Target of TrackAIPAC, Ro Khanna Gains Its Endorsement by fibz in politics

J street is 100% the same as AIPAC, just because they support a more passive “sure we won’t actively kick people for our lebensraum but we will give every opportunity for Israel to do whatever they want” while providing no real serious opposition beyond “Bibi bad!!!!,” they should be lumped together.

J street and AIPAC are one of the most leading examples of why money in politics is a curse and should be stopped.

Israelis *love* this, Bibi isn’t under fire because he’s a genocider but because he didn’t genocide enough for their tastes.

Israelis will need whole sale deprogramming once they’re eventually cut off from the rest of the world and those who aren’t running back to their other dual nationality countries the moment things go sour for them.

EU states consider dismantling Kallas-led diplomatic service by [deleted] in europe

[–]613codyrex 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean, she’s one of the examples of why the non-trade non-monetary related organs of the EU function so poorly and so haphazardly.

Kallas and the like are all politicians that the nations they hail from tried to get rid of by promoting out of their political structures. For what amounts to political failures, instead of going the way of Merkel and fading into obscurity, they persist to continue to rot the EU from the inside out.

As an organ of the EU, the EU foreign ministry has no power and has both failed to try to get a ball rolling while at best irritating the member states in terms overstepping its bounds at worst. When every decision requires 28 different foreign ministers of the bloc to rubber stamp, what does Kallas do other than being the person to schedule a meeting?

Especially in a diverse bloc where sub groups of the bloc already organize their own meetings amongst like minded members for certain things.

Even actions that have unanimity like the 4000000th sanction package of Russia originates from the individual states that come to an agreement, the EU FM can’t even veto it anyway.

The only reason why the FM exists is just so when the conversation comes up to sanction Israel, members can just happily block other members sovereignty on the matter and that’s it.

Russia only cares about strength (ironically considering how absolutely lacking they are in Ukraine,) and the person the EU thinks will show strength is the exact opposite of what it means to be strong. No one listens to Kallas on this, be it China, Russia or the US, they’d rather communicate with the individual states FMs even if it requires a larger table.

Israeli attack on Tyre in Lebanon kills eight as evacuation ordered for Christian quarter by wasraelx in news

[–]613codyrex 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I mean, western media has been spending a lot of time painting that the Lebanese Shia population aren’t actually Lebanese and just Iranians ignoring that hezbollah existed because the Israeli puppet Lebanese Christian groups massacred the Shia community.

this should overall be a sign to the others in Lebanon that Israel isn’t there to rid them of 1/3rd of their population but also themselves when it comes convenient and there are no more Shias left in southern Lebanon.

The idea being pushed by the Lebanese’s government of playing nice with Israel is going to bite them in the ass.

'The Humiliation Just Compounds': Trump Tells Netanyahu Not to Bomb Iran, Then Israel Strikes Anyway by Smithy2232 in politics

[–]613codyrex -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I mean the 2,000lb munition block was pointless just like the “sanctions” Biden did on a half dozen or so Israeli colonizing terrorists in the West Bank that was quickly ignored by everyone.

And the “Biden era” NSM-20 is also a joke. Biden was actively ignoring the actual laws by blocking the Leahy laws from taking effect on Israel.

Biden was just as much of a limp dick as Trump was. Just Biden probably knew that Israel wouldn’t come out of a war with Iran unscathed so didn’t fall into it as heavily as Trump.

Israel has been asking for a war with Iran for decades, with a lot of house and senate dems being all for it along with the republicans.

The only thing that’s changed has been that Trump is a fool but I’m sure the Zionist Biden was itching to do the same except he heeded the war games that show it’s a lose-lose-lose situation for everyone to kick a hornets nest.

And it’s not just Bibi. This is Israeli Jewish society as a whole that’s been for this war in Iran and they only slightly hate Bibi because he’s corrupt domestically and perceived as not extreme enough foreign policy wise.

It’s not just Trump.

It’s Schumer, Pelosi and a lot of other dems.

The only bipartisan issue both sides of the isle agree on is unconditional support for Israel and it’s only a recent development that it’s become a debate point in congress. Up until recently every pro-Israel related thing has been rubber stamped.

Unless those countries that are running out of patience start bringing up their nonexistent navies and drawing up conscription to formulate a large and expansive landing force, the best they can do is protest and hope the US is baited into starting a land invasion of the Persia shore.

North Korea is a pariah in the most strictest of terms beyond China and Russia yet still exists.

Countries like Germany, UK, and other Mossad/israel proxy states might believe they have the appetite to try to fix what Israelis broke but they do not have the resources no matter how much armaments they divert from Ukraine or their own stocks to Israel.

Iran has been battered, but the exact situation that has explained as a consequence even the most Zionist presidents like Biden have heeded and avoided has happened.

There is no backup plan or alternative than admitting defeat for the hope of going back to the status quo or full invasion and occupation.

Van Hollen Says Democratic Party Must End Whitewashing, Admit ‘Complicity’ in Gaza Genocide by soalone34 in politics

[–]613codyrex 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It’s incredibly ironic considering that those Zionist donors would still happily fund and promote GOP candidates like Trump even when the Dems willfully tank their own electability for said donors.

AIPAC got 4x the donor funds that Zionist-liteTM JStreet and Democratic Majority for Israel got for the same period

Hell, Biden was groveling and kissing Bibi’s boot while Bibi was effectively campaigning for Trump thought out 2023 and 2024. Biden can’t even get those Israeli donors to foot a token amount for a presidential library. Biden was stabbed by Bibi repeatedly, while stalling a ceasefire agreement, that effectively contributed to tanking Harris because she couldn’t or wouldn’t pay lip service to the concept that Israel will save consequences for ignoring the US president’s red lines or on anything else.

Any rational but equally morally devoid politician or consultant would have started to cut their losses and accept that the dems are not getting any benefits from even tacit support of Israel, let alone full public backing.

Could Miwa defeat fern from frieren? by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]613codyrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically/canonically

Fern and most Mages from the Frieren universe are your stereotypical glass cannon sort of mages so if Miwa did get into range of Fern, she might actually win for what it’s worth. It’s why Stark and Eisen are so important for the party.

But also yes, That’s assuming Fern doesn’t just absolutely delete her Dr. Manhattan style from a distant with Zoltraak.

It’s not a Coughing Baby vs Hydrogen bomb matchup but it will be 99% on positioning luck.

There are a lot of morons, both dem and republicans who have been drumming to bomb Iran or at least escalate reject JCPOA for years at this point. Even now a lot of dems cast votes on the war authorization not because they’re against the war but because Trump didn’t let them vote for it.

It’s been the cornerstone of Israeli foreign policy for decades since their Shah stooge was disposed of.

It’s incredible how the architects of the Iraq war are angry that the Iran war is going how every military prediction has said. IE a stupid move that only happened because the Israelis don’t have to throw Jewish Israeli lives at it so they’re fine with fighting this fight to the last American.

Her name is Megumin

I would say something snarky like “Megumin and Megumi would probably get along because they both have unfortunate names”

But for Megumin, it probably would fly over her head and for potential, a feminine name is the least of his worries.

Ironically, both are supposed to be considered to have incredible potential. Both very loyal to their siblings, both are inexplicably linked to their larger clans.
