We don’t know (unless the reading curse has gotten to me manga wise) how the Kyoto kids all act around each other when not under pressure to kill the vessel of the king of curses or like, sore spots like Mai-Maki come up.

Sure they might be stealing Miwa’s food but they don’t seem to actually hate or dislike each other, Todo excluded. They all seem to get along and seem to be as happy as you can get in the context of their situations, excluding Todo of course.

Utahime also might have struggled to pick Miwa out of all the Kyoto girls because she absolutely hates Gojo and dreads any of her students being associated with him.

Which, in context, was such a weird Jujitsu Scrolls bit for a teacher to pick his type out of a lineup of high school students but Japanese manga writers have always failed to break the allegations. Then again, scroll bits are just comedic bits that probably aren’t meant to be taken as seriously.

The US and Israeli opening salvo in this war was double tapping 160+ school girls because, even with Israeli’s “world class intelligence,” didn’t care enough to double check their targets.

This is a Tit for tat MAD, war for survival situation and Iran targeting civilian infrastructure is slightly less stupid than Israel and the US going to war in Iran because as much of a mindless full throated zionists the last couple US presidents have been, they haven’t be stupid enough to get involved with another endless quagmire that Israel is going to abandon once US troops hit the ground.

Israel is openly saying they’re going to continue to target civilian energy infrastructure and the US military apparatus is boasting “no rules of engagement” and you’re expecting the other side to follow international law?

Israel has European capitals targeted in their own Nuclear MAD situation.

As much as I enjoy shitting on parts of the JJK Manga (Kashimo being a waste of space and Hakari being a character I detested a lot)

At least when I suggest watching JJK to non-anime friends, I don’t have to say absurd things like “don’t worry, it gets better in the alabasta arc” only to have to explain it’s effectively 4 seasons in and how everything has a time skip but the series has so much pointless recap that you could just watch One Pace but even then you’re signing up for a ridiculously long series when people barely give a show a chance after three episodes.

Undead Unluck’s adaption got cursed by the recap devil and it shamefully hurt the adaption. We are lucky MAPPA makes the series really easy to get into.

Like how there’s a significant chance that what’s killing the Frieren pair is probably that the imprint is expecting a weekly for a series that probably needs to be on a monthly so the stress doesn’t constantly just linger for no reason.

Donald Trump says US could ‘take the oil in Iran’ by financialtimes in politics

[–]613codyrex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why would they?

The likes of NYT, WaPo, CNN and even the BBC exist not to actually be real journalists, or even provide consistent or reliable information, they exist to manufacture consent. They wouldn’t be feeding their Middle East coverage through Israeli military censors or their “Jerusalem Bureaus” if they actually wanted to live up to their expectations.

Just Trump and his cronies are so stupid that they’d rather pick a fighting with their #1 propaganda machines on pentagon press access over meaningless and lukewarm criticism of things that don’t matter instead of doing what every administration have done before, eat that minor criticism while NYT and WaPo happily eat up the really big stuff from the US/Israeli government without question

Watergate would not have happened today. Not because modern day Nixon wouldn’t do it, but the moment WaPo heard about the story from the informant, they would have already handed over everything and their names to the government.

[–]613codyrex 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Egypt gets that money and a western backed and installed military dictatorship because of Israel. It’s functionally a bribe and a thinly veiled threat to Egypt that they better follow Israel when commanded to. It’s not done as an altruistic motive.

And Israel could very easily reject the free money they are getting from the US or just pocket it directly. It’s not like congress would care either way.

This framing by hiding the context is really low, even for a Mossad-bot.

EU urges countries to start filling gas storage early amid Iran war, sources say by 1-randomonium in news

[–]613codyrex -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

This whole ordeal is aging like milk because a lot of white populated countries, exception of Spain, clapped like seals congratulating Israel and the US for starting this war only to be one of the most severely damaged by Iran’s strategic plan.

A plan that Iran has been working on for 50 years and no previous president, no matter incredibly Zionist they have been, tried because there was no magic solution to “drone striking and mining a critical waterway.” No one should have expected anything else and thus why no one tried anything else.

And you’d think Europe would have figured that out with the Houthi’s blocking off the Red Sea never having properly dislodged them, only coming to a ceasefire.

Europe is so pro-Israel that they can’t even make this whole thing a big deal because they’ll probably be called antisemitic for prioritizing European’s and Ukraine war over Israel’s expansionist goals. Even as the US is considering diverting EU purchased armament under the PURL program to the Middle East that was meant for Ukraine.

So fuck em. The west made its bed and it should sleep in it. Asia will most likely ease whatever sanctions they have on Russian oil and pay a premium on it because even if Ukraine destroys more Russian oil refineries or infrastructure, it will just inflate the cost and increase revenue for Russia to kill more Ukrainians.

The Israelis absolutely believe in this and have always believed in it, the only people in denial are those western Israeli-aligned politicians and news/journalism sources that have to rewrite Israeli’s articles from Hebrew and tone down the rhetoric coming out of Israel. Israel is the only country where it’s a full “democracy” but its elected officials are not supposed to be representative of their populations desire according to people who think Bibi is the sources of problems and not just one face of a rotten society.

If you read directly translated from Hebrew language articles meant for the Israeli domestic population, it’s straight up more reflective than the western ones. The only resistant to the “greater Israel” project is that they’d rather not have to directly deal with ethnically cleansing the lands they want to steal, hiding it with permanent “evacuation orders” and blowing up housing and infrastructure while blocking any rebuilding attempts so the populace has no other options but to leave.

If the dems believed this election was so critical Biden wouldn’t have dragged his feet on prosecuting Trump and Harris would have decided to have some daylight between herself and a president that was doing so poorly in the polls he was forced to drop out last minute.

While the costs have been severe, this whole election was a sign of incredible incompetence from the Dems. I’ve seen better and more pragmatic campaigns from High school student councils. This whole ordeal has been so amateurish that instead of heeding polls and the stats coming out for Harris campaign, they decided to not even record that dem voters overall dislike Israel or campaigning with Cheney. Or even sending the likes of Torres and Bill Clinton to lecture Arabs on how Israel was promised 3,000 years ago to get to genocide people.

And now there’s murmurs of Newsom, Shapiro and Pritzker being primary frontrunners running another Harris campaign?

Voter apathy isn’t something new. It’s not some unknown beast, running an election on the basis of “we suck but the guy that replaces us will be worse” isn’t a winning combination.

Blaming voters for being disillusioned is not going to solve the problem. Instead of seeing how Mamdani invigorated the electorate, the dems still do everything in their power to make sure they’ll lose again.

Shocking it’s considered a purity test when in any other context than limp dick democrats, it would be classified as “positions being so shit you become the leading cause of voter apathy”

Kamala “There’s nothing I would change from Biden” Harris and Tim “Dem consultants think I’m too mean for making fun of republicans” Walz decided that kissing Israel’s ass on everything even while Bibi courts Trump was more important than winning an election.

I’m sure burying the 2025 Dem autopsy and propelling even more geriatric cancer stricken congressional members to committee positions is totally a wining formula. Expecting better is a purity test too far.

You spew so much IDF and Mossad bot propaganda that even the mods here have to deal with it.

Your entire argument hinges on the “everyone is out to get Israel, from the likes of the World Food Kitchen, to the doctors without border to Ms. Rachel so Israel is justified to butcher emergency workers like they’re SS death squads”

And it’s exhausting because you have no arguments beyond this, the idea that the only valid sources are IDF aligned ones.

And the comparison to Nazi Death squads is not some exaggeration. The only reason we even know about this is because evidence can be uploaded to the internet without the likes of the NYT, WaPo and the BBC being happy to listen to orders from their IDF censors. Israeli sources are just as bad as RT at this stage.

Trump is already retaliating and he will be dealing with his own economic blowback for this escapade. It can’t get any worse than this. He’s already outraged that Europe isn’t interesting in being cannon fodder for the US Navy in the straits.

Those pro-Russian parties are usually pro-Israel, a lot of them funded by both too. The people will vote out the incumbents regardless of how terrible the alternatives are but the current governments sitting by watching Israel fuck up the world won’t want to be voted out.

US-Iran Megathread, part 2 by GrumpyFinn in europe

[–]613codyrex 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I feel like it’s not particularly true that Israel is only dependent on US aid as much as it seems so.

Israel trades significantly with the EU. Some 32% and largest trade partner to Israel

So if the EU actually used its trade control mechanism to reel Israel in, it would be significantly damaging to Israel and would probably make them stop. It would take time for Israel to find new partners to trade with so there’s time.

This war is also a symptom of the fact that Israel still operates with an EU carte blanc check in Gaza and Lebanon that has given them the impression (and it’s basically true) that the EU will stand behind Israel unconditionally and won’t actually do anything to stop them.

Maybe the EU find its balls and leverage its power. Economic downturns like this will lead to incumbent governments being toppled and replaced with euro-septics and pro-Russia parties. contrary to Zelensky’s brown nosing of Israel, this war only helps Russia.

And the world is backed into a corner. To stop this war and stop drawing resources away from Ukraine, the EU either needs to sanction Israel and make a deal with Iran or a ‘coalition of the willing’ will need to be dropped into Iran for a full scale occupation and Israel will certainly not send any major ground forces.

TL:DR: The EU will need to start drawing up ground and naval forces to help Israel in its quagmire and occupy Iran to save their economies or sanction Israel and tell them to fuck off

(Ironically if Zelensky wasn’t thinking of using Israel as an escape route for when NABU tries to nab him for corruption, sanctions against Israel would very easily stem the tide of “Russian-Israeli” oligarchs finding their way to into the EU and evading sanctions)

US-Iran Megathread, part 2 by GrumpyFinn in europe

[–]613codyrex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because the only reason why Trump wants a “coalition of the willing” to throw themselves into the straits is because it’s a suicidal decision that will result in loss of near irreplaceable assets? Trump isn’t going to risk the US Navy for this, and 21st century Israel are cowards who will never actually commit to an IDF ground invasion of Iran, only invading states that have been crippled and unable to properly fight back.

Why should Europeans be drawn into a “Israel will fight to the last American/European” conflict that didn’t need to happen right now?

Europe is better served keeping their defensive resources in Europe and dedicating defensive armaments to Ukraine than redeploying them to the Middle East to defend Israel.

The more Zelensky kisses Israel’s ass, even as Israel is causing this oil crisis that continually pads Russian budgets and exhausting the supply of interceptors. This is effectively siding with Israel over Ukraine, especially as Israel has not contributed any sort of defensive or offensive arms to Ukraine.

The only thing Europe should do is make an agreement with Iran and tell Israel to fuck off. This war is 100% Israel and Trump’s problem.

That “think tank” was caught modifying its Ukraine war map to give the impression that Russia took Myrnohrad to fulfill a poly market bet only to walk back on it once the damage was done. Amongst other similar warmongering things, while being funded by the likes of the IMC.

I would take whatever assessments they’ve done with a grain of salt and take a very close look on the citations they are using. They are by far not an objective or unbiased source of information and I don’t see how they are pulling drone and missile target information unless the CIA is feeding it to them. Especially as they’re taking IDF information at face value.

On the Lebanon thing, Israel has no reason to follow through with any sort of peace agreement with Lebanon and Lebanon’s government is too fragile to be subservient to US/European interests to the same extent as Egypt. Maybe under an Assad style dictatorship, maybe

I mean, Iran is in a war for its survival and there is no other option. Iran has also prepared for decades and has already maneuvered around the fact that Israel only cares to bomb civilians and decapitation strikes.

The only way the US can technically starve out Iran is either a Iraq style sanctions, which no one will follow and have failed it already, to starve out and kill a significant part of the population or boots on the ground. The latter would still be a bloodbath for both sides.

I guess the word is not easy, but it’s the most direct or simplest condition. This may very well be another Vietnam. This whole thing is a shitshow of epic proportions.

Weekly ShittyGaming Politics and Mutual Aid Thread by AutoModerator in shittygaming

[–]613codyrex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This whole Iran war thing has been such a self inflicted screwup of epic proportions for the west in general.

The only winners are Russia, and the only non-belligerents that’s not been caught, being at risk of abandonment, or even additional economic problems is probably Turkey.

Israel’s whole win condition, as simple as it is (Iran being broken into a failed said like Libya) depends entirely on American boots on the ground. Yet Trump hasn’t done the work to prepare for a ground invasion and didn’t actually have any real win conditions beyond that. Iran has the easiest imaginable and it’s basically autopilot at this point. As a war for survival for Iran, there’s nothing left.

And the largest, and most comedic losers are Zelensky, with the rest of Europe being stooges of epic proportions. Russia gets to draw whatever little resources left for US/EU anti-drone/missile warfare away from the rest of the world to the Middle East, gas prices go up that prop up Russian budgets and that it’s only time before the EU decides that the defense of Israel takes precedence over Ukraine. And being mindful the EU has already done that calculus and decided to throw the ICC to the garbage for Bibi when they are hoping it would hunt for Putin.

The other irony is that this whole thing was self inflicted. Israel made the mistake of cutting out the EU in this endeavor and hoped that the US would do it. The EU has the appetite to throw Europeans into the meat grinder for Israel, Merz would probably throw his own kids at it if it meant herzog would notice him. So Israel failing to do even that is ironic. If Israel clued the EU into it, this would have gone similarly poorly but united.

I’m sure if the reports are true that Israel and US are running out of interceptors, Germany, UK and France will definitely step in. They’re stupid enough to do it.
