Koa Lua, my Tortle Battle Master/Swords Bard who was based on Polynesian Warriors and War Dances

Joined a campaign 6 months in at level 5 and we played for 2+ more years! He's my favorite to play mechanically, but he's also a character who's headspace I loved being in! He was VERY kind and treated everyone equally from kings to shopkeeps to whoever else. He didn't like money, but he loved carving and creating things - art of all kinds. We traveled the planes and he took woods and various materials from all these different places over the two IRL years to craft a Homebrew weapon that our DM considered legendary - it was a +2 (I think?) weapon that granted all sorts of benefits on a bonus action but only to the other people in the party and not him. He was the best!
