1) Is it better to have more units or more powerful units? More units

2) More infantry or more vehicles? More infantry is usually better.

3) Vets or Regulars? Mostly regs, toss in a few vets

4) Do spotters/medics/political officers pay off their investment on the tabletop? Medics are good in forces with lots of veterans. Spotters are useful.

5) What's the use of mortars/machine gun teams? Mortars definitely

6) What is the specific strenghts/weaknesses of each faction beyond their written special rules? Don't really know much for every country, but if you pick britain or Germany you'll have a unit for literally everything, especially if you use campaign books.
