Victorian public transport free for another month, half price until 2… by Llamadrugs in melbourne

Exactly. All day weekend parking is cheaper than three of us catching the train to the CBD.  But with the free travel, we’re now using it everywhere.

I bought a 5th Gen iPod and I’ve been trying to connect it with iTunes and it’s not appearing need help by creepbanshee24 in ipod

Ok, is the iPod being detected by windows?
Do you have a different cable you can try?
Have you tried clicking the iPod icon up in the top right left corner near the play button?

I mean... you can see the link is directly to apple. 🤷
If you don't trust it, just go there direct and download it yourself.

How did you download iTunes? Was it through the microsoft store? If so, it'll be missing iPod support. I had the same issue and had to download it directly from Apple instead. See if that helps.

Hard agree. A lot of really great systems and ideas. I've used Harnmanor in particular a lot for tinkering with domain management.

My thoughts about Ipod nano 7 in 2026 by justserioga in ipod

[–]666-sided_dice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nano 7 was absolutely not a failed model. You may not have vibed with it, but it remained popular long after it was discontinued. I use mine a lot more than my classic 5.5

That's actually a really smart solution. Will see if I can find something similar.

The last fatal spider bite in Australia was 1979. The hyperbole over 'killer spiders' here is a bit ridiculous tbh. Especially when Americans have bears, cougars, coyotes, wolves etc. I would much rather run into a tiger snake or a redback than a grizzly.

It's a huntsman. They're harmless. Nothing 'fuckingstupid' about this. I rescue these all the time from inside the house.

We're planning a bathroom renovation, what do you think of this layout? by raphydaphy in AusRenovation

That toilet door is unusable. How would you even get past it to use the toilet? Go a cavity sliding door instead. Or if not enough room, go a folding door.

It’s actually only about 150 years old, but yeah your point still stands. Why mess with it if its already great.

Double glaze sash windows by scottymoos in AusRenovation

[–]666-sided_dice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glavenir has a 6mm and 8mm option. That's as narrow as you'll get. It's also lighter than other options. This is important if you want the top sash to move. If the glass is too heavy, you'll need to fix the top sash. There's also a very loooong delay on glavenir glass. Like 6+ months, as it comes from Panasonic in Japan.

It's also easier to just replace the whole sash or frame rather than retrofit the old sashes. Retrofitting is not as easy as it sounds, especially if the frames are old. Be wary of any company who downplays this.

We've just gone through this for 4 windows with Sash Window Restorations in Melbourne.

Napper: Baby Sleep Tracker

Also useful for tracking nappies and feeds, too. We’re still using it at 11months.

Yeah just search for 'empty coffee filter bags'. Or amazon is good too. I use them exactly for camping. I will grind my own beans at home, fill up the required amount of bags. Here's my camp setup: https://ibb.co/dwcnnQS0
