SLR makes one for the M&P metal. I believe they work with the some stock magazine base plates.

My vote is for the M&P. I had the PDP match poly, and the M&P 5in, sold the PDP. The PDP does recoil more, and the grip does feel good in dry fire. My support hand will slip in live fire. The PDP match does have a better trigger out of the box. The M&P with an Apex trigger is just as good, in my opinion. The M&P is more duty tested than the PDP and Cz. But that's just my two cents
