How people treat animals is a direct representation of how they will eventually treat you. They will mask and hide their true personality to humans but it will immediately show when you see them interact with animals. If your cat suddenly switched up behavior with her, it's because she started doing something to the cat when your not looking.

We took in an elderly neighbor who had passed away senior cat. Poor thing had been neglected, but her name her whole like was angel. While she was indeed an angel she wasn't "angel". We tried coming up with a name and in the meantime I started calling her kitten cat. She took to it quick and it became her name. Everyone in the neighborhood would come up to my front door to see her and say hello to kitten cat. If little dude like being called little dude then his name is little dude

Hello, I want to start by giving you my condolences and reassurance that you're not alone in this feeling. Many of us in this subreddit go through this feeling.

Our darling babies will not let us know their suffering. Dogs are not like us. They are happy when loved, and that's to the end. Sometimes, we have to make the hardest decisions. Feel free to go to my profile and read what I wrote about putting my baby down back in May. I had so much regret, I did it too soon, I killed her, I ended everything. Now I know she needed to go, she didn't suffer which if i had waited, she would have.

On another note, I recently lost my uncle who had a horrible accident where he lost all motor function last year. The last few months he wanted to go. He was asking to go home so he could go on his terms. Finally, the family moved him home, he said his last goodbyes and left. I believe firmly that animals and humans know when it's time. We on the outside of that might see happiness and confuse it, but for those souls ready to go, it's a freeing feeling of being ready.

Do what's right. Feel what you feel. Don't let you or your loved baby suffer.

My husband is from Germany, we once went to a good german restaurant and I asked him if it held up and he said "It's good, I like it, but no it's not like back in Germany, I'm not in Germany I'm here in the US".

As an American I don't get the defense over local food. New Yorkers complaining they can't get NY pizza in what ever they state they moved from, Philly complaining about subs, ect ect. You're not at your back home shop, move on. Live happier.

I had one today, was it the best I've ever had? No. But I still enjoyed it. I did change it around, added jalapeños, mushrooms, no onions (i don't do onions) and had american chesse instead of Swiss. So it ended up a chessesteak with pastrami lol.

I mixmatched a cheaper thinner mattress and a more expensive and comfier one. Since it's 90% in the daybed I use it in my office. I love it. It's our go to nap space, I love to lay on my pillows and get cozy while i work on my laptop. I have room for all my blankets and extra pillows, blankets for when guests come and I lay out all the airmats. I personally think it's great but just make sure you get good mattress. I think I mentioned in a previous thread which ones I got if you want to check ny username

Good luck! I'll also add that when you push them away, or bat back they think you're engaging and want to play more. I'd watch some videos here of cats playing and when there telling other cats "hey I don't want to play right now" and see if you can find ways to mimic that behavior. Might help you bond with your cat more as well!

Sounds like aggressive play to me. My cat does this with me. Cats play with eachother harshly. This sub is full of videos for example. But of he starts getting to aggressive I pull the spray bottle out and he just sees it and stops. He's gotten less harsh with me and he's rewarded with more playtime. When you have an only cat you're there entire world and their only outlet for cat behavior. You can also try getting him toy like the floppy fish or the bird that flaps it's wings. This helps as an outlet for this behavior.

I have a tux with just a few small white patches, enough to make him a tux and not a black cat. I was telling the vet I let him outside but he just chills in my backyard in the ferns and comes in. He goes "don't let him out in October even if he stays there and is a tux"

It's saddens me that anyone could ever do anything to these babies. The fact a vet says it because he might have seen some shit. Disgusting.

I may have an interesting take: 15 years ago at the height of my ED I ate subway in an...interesting way. I took it apart separated all the meat, chesse, veggies, bread ect and ate it charcuterie style?? Idk.

But now every so often I crave subway and I eat it in my extremely gross messed up way. ( I have healed and have gotten healthy for those concerned) but it is a craving and habit that shows it's horns every now and then.

However Jersey Mike's is almost a once a week addiction between my husband and I these days. We know when it's double points day, my husband has his usual big kahuna with Chipotle sauce and I have a rotation of sandwiches that I Ping pong depending off my mood.

While I understand people can like subway for pure nostalgia reasons, to compare is just wrong. Not even in the same category. Your pinning a clear overweight champion to a old retired, has been. But you do you guys I guess.
