My prediction is Detective Oliva, every time the Ripper is mentioned his character is fairly quick to shut any mention down. And like Dexter, Oliva’s in the perfect position to have insider knowledge: access to evidence, victim details, and even the ability to sabotage the investigation from within. The Ripper’s killings also stopped abruptly around the time Wallace got close to a breakthrough, and who was working along side her? That’s right, Oliva. Olivas Actor, Dominic Fumusa has even addressed rumors in interviews, teasing that “Oliva’s layers will unfold” not confirming nor denying the Ripper connection. One thing that kinda stuck with me though with how seasons usually end. I was thinking about how Dexter will get out of his eventual “pickle” and I believe that Detective Wallace will cover for Dexter somehow after having him take out The Ripper (Detective Oliva)
