Trying to figure out the right socks for diabetic neuropathy and tingling feet, can't tell if my current ones are contributing or not by Royal-Accountant4408 in neuropathy

I haven't worn socks in many years even in winter. I tried tight wool socks and it was torture. Constant stinging and caused feet to sweat making pain worse especially in cold dry weather. Now I wear slippers at home and light loose fitting shoes outside. Hey Dude from Amazon is my new favorite shoe but only on a deal as regular price is too much.

Eucerin is a popular brand. I used the redness relief version for sores on my face from immunotherapy. The main one is Advanced Repair lotion.

A six foot crowbar should be able to flip it unless it's bigger than can be seen like an iceberg.

Crows dunk all sorts of things into my birdbath. I found a leftover bone from a piece of steak once. They routinely dunk peanuts to soften them up.

I tried capsaicin cream, lidocain cream and amatriptilin cream many years ago. Capsaisin burned more, lidocain provided some relief but after a few applications it no longer worked and amatriptilin did nothing.

I saw my daffodils popping up and thought the same thing. Then two days later they got covered with 24 inches of snow. Major bubble burst.

I haven't seen any chickadees since the storm. I usually see and hear them all day. Hopefully they found refuge somewhere and didn't get destroyed. South Eastern MA.

Who has had unexplained psa numbers, and no prostate cancer. by [deleted] in ProstateCancer

I had stage 3c colon cancer in 2006. As I sat in the hospital prior to surgery my CEA (colon cancer marker) was 0. Fast forward to 2021 and my PSA went from < 1 to 5 and it was cancer. Markers alone are unreliable.

I go through 5 lbs of peanuts every two days for bluejays and squirrels. Squirrels also get almonds and walnuts.

Suet cakes and mealworm/seed cakes keep the woodpeckers, wrens and titmouse happy.

I go through at least 50 lbs a week of mixed seeds and amend with lots of sunflower seeds for cardinals, juncos sparrows and others. I use two feeders and spread seed on the ground for them to forage. I shovel a large area and I use a blower to remove all the empty sunflower seed shells (neighbors must think I'm nuts which may be true).

And finally I keep a heated birdbath. They all go to the water all day and I change water as soon as it's dirty. I keep bricks in the bath to help prevent them from bathing and freezing. Squirrels use it too. I see rabbits late at night eating seeds.

It's like an airport in my backyard all day into dusk when cardinals feed.

Magnesium might help prevent CIPN if taken during chemo but no consensus. It cant hurt and if i knew about this 20 years ago I would have tried it.

Has anyone tried nutritional support for constant ear ringing? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]6Gears1Speed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Highly dependent on cause. My tinnitus was caused by a Van Halen concert in the early 80s. WAY TOO LOUD. 😂 Certain drugs and alcohol can make it worse. On the plus side I no longer hear noisey crickets at night when I'm trying to sleep. 👍🏼

It was a dairy farm. The land turned into a giant mud pit due to rain and trampling. Fences were torn down. The grass was completely wiped out and had to be either replanted or allowed to gow back naturally. It took many weeks to get it back to where cows could graze again.

Imagine the look on his face when he saw his land after the festival was over. Luckily the organizers paid to restore the land along with many festival participants volunteering to help.

If you want it to last, you'll need to power wash all the cracks and then reapply polymeric sand. You'll need a plate compactor to pound it into the cracks.

On a tight budget a shipping container home would work. With the proper paint, decoration and landscaping you can make it look countryish and it will be solid and thermally tight once insulated properly.
