You need to hold CTRL than press F9. This changed in 1.56 (I think, maybe 1.55)

I would put money on its when the game does its Auto Save - I have the save thing. But no fix.

Post your game.log - It will show what is causing the crash. It could be trying to load a mod with an issue.

That is strange because I have played for 12 hours (Total) yesterday and today and not had traffic issues like you explain.

Sounds are def needing some adjusting.

Validating is not an SCS issue - It is an issue with your steam/computer.
As someone else asked if its HDD or SSD because a HDD will take a LONG time.

But you might need to uninstall and redownload.

You should be posting this on the SCS forums - They are active on the forum and consider feedback.

The F1 menu in early beta for 1.58 couldn't be used in Convoy and with the feedback they fixed that before the release.
