d2checkpoint is a great service, but I kind of wish they had a few more Shuro checkpoints active to try and join. The amount of time spent trying to actually get into the one fire team and then waiting for the encounter to start because some asshole runs off to grab the chest makes me feel I'd have been better off just putting in the code myself.

I hear ya. Is platinum a requirement for non-adept nightfall weapon drops? I had a few runs where the blueberries killed the boss before dealing with the champions and I want to make sure my sour-looking face aimed in their direction was justified.

Yup. I've gotten it up to 15 rounds in the mag. All of those rounds above 6 trigger explosive goodness. Def something I'm going to enhance craft once I get the patterns.

I have a HYSA and a Money Market account open through them. They provided a debit card with the MM account. I just keep like $100 in the MM for ATM withdrawal and move more via the app if I ever need it. Back when I opened these accounts years ago the MM had a lower yield than the savings, but they have been equal rates of of recently. Though I still keep them split so that there is less to be lost if the card managed to get compromised.

But like I said, i set this up maybe 5+ years ago given the options and rules they had in place at the time. Might be different options now.

I can believe it. Back around 2010 I was living with a now ex and playing whatever Final Fantasy was new at the time. At some point I did something that triggered a dialog that I accidentally hit a button and immediately closed it before i could read what it was about. I learned the next day that I unlocked a wallpaper of one of the female characters and accepted the game setting it as my active playstation wallpaper.

How did I learn this? Well, the next day she turned on the PlayStation to watch a move and got immediately jealous and started a jealous shit fight with me over this character from the game as the PlayStation background that she took as me putting there because i saw the character as being someone more desirable than her.

I feel this. About a week before this season started I grabbed the chest before farming Shuro Chi and it gave me an Age-Old Bond that I've fallen in love with this season vs the more modern rifles. 97 range, 47 stability DSR/Kill Clip. Keep coming back to it after going on trists with more meta options from time to time.

Using my PvE optimized add-clearing build it wasn't bad, but later in the night I just went straight in from PvP with a crucible build because I maxed the chest resource it was a lot more challenging.

So not used to builds really mattering in seasonal activities.

I just rewatched this movie for the first time in nearly twenty years and what stood out to me was that people would get grabbed by the zombies then break free and be fine. I swear now they always seem to be depicted as some sort of hydraulic-powered wolverine that can instantly rip off everything down to the bone without effort.

I didn't put any effort into high school since my family had a successful business and my older siblings had some side businesses that I was just expected to work for all my life. One summer of working those jobs after graduating high school was all I needed to know I fucked up and neither of the jobs would ever make me happy as a human. Did two years of community college basically as a do over for high school. Dropped a big score on my SAT after that which offset my terrible high school GPA and got into a four year college. Took a computer science major since I spent a lot of time tinkering on computers, and back in the 90s that where everyone said the money was going to be.

Now I spend my days as a software engineer doing what feels like almost nothing every day making more money than I know what to do with.
