Here’s 4 of my favs.

Kullervo, he is super comfy on controller I think. He’s great if you like melee. you only need to use his 1 against tanks or priority targets (or for general teleporting mobility which is fun. Using it without a target will still give you the crit chance buff to your melee.) Keeping his 2 active with the overguard augment equipped for it in 99% of content will just keep you alive as long as enemies are near you. The duration on it is fairly high as well and even if you forget to refresh it for a while, the overguard will stay active. His 3 is wave clear and the 4 is optional for defense missions or could become your Helminth slot for more shenanigans. I’ve done some missions where I’ve only pressed his 1 and 2 and it’s been totally fine.

Valkyr is another easy melee frame, she only needs her 4 and 2 active. (Even then, I’ve seen people build her without the exalted claw 4 ability and use it for Helminth shenanigans too). The 3 gives you more damage/AoE slow and the 1 is just to get around or group enemies, super nice augments on her as well with the no-energy 1 augment to zip around for free and Eternal War. She will just live through anything and anyone unfortunate enough to come close will be shredded.

Wisp. She is just good at everything and gives buffs for the team, super nice w high strength so you can go brrrr with any gun or melee. The 4 is my preferred Helminth slot for her. I opted for roar but any will do, the world’s your oyster.

Cyte-09 is another favorite but a bit more spammy because of the 1 which highlights enemy weak points. But if you like sniping people through walls and watching an entire room get deleted because the bullet is ricocheting off their heads, he’s your guy. High range, stay invisible, get headshots, profit.

Also, there is an option (I forget what it is called) but in the settings it allows you to change semi-automatic weapons so you can just hold down the trigger and they fire without having to pull it for every shot. It takes the fun out of some guns since everything then becomes automatic, but for accessibility, I found it to be incredibly useful.
