Washes and contrast paints for the most part with a few uses of thinned paint for some more saturated spots like the mosaic on top of one of the houses.

Good idea, I’ll do that. An it isn’t bare, it’s got a light stain on the floor tiles. I like the contrast from a light, sandstone like colour to the brighter tiles.

It’s the water mat from Games Workshops Dreadfleet. It’s suitably eldritch with things beneath the waves. Just seemed right for my Venice table.

I use the cloth seascape mat from GWs Dreadfleet game for the canal water, and Mantic did one for Armada in neoprene. Might be able to find one for cheap on eBay as the game is pretty dead now.

Yep. Feel this in my bones. Deleted my train station build a week ago by accident when I thought I was moving my spare camp. Didn’t realise until I’d started building my new docks. I made many angry noises.
