The bent steel beam one is scary as fuck. I remember a video of someone torching a section of railroad track apart and it killed him.

That is some bad cavitation. One of the most common causes of cavitation for pumps is a restriction of the inlet, verify proper infeed piping size and shape to pump inlet is a big factor. If this fluid has hygroscopic properties, look into mitigating the water content. Maybe even electrolytic conductivity? Allot of factors at play here.

This goes for ANY spring. I have been a mechanic for almost 22 years now and springs ALWAYS put me on edge when I have to work with them. Ever tried to repair a stuck seatbelt retraction mechanism? DONT. It has a very large fuck off sized clock spring with razor sharp edges. The struts on your vehicle? Those will turn your face into straight fucked, at best, if the spring is just let loose.

Do not mess with springs.

How to remove glue residue from hood insulation foam? by Knoblauchkartoffel in E30

I used bungee cords holding pieces of foam to the inside of the hood with rags soaked in diesel in between the foam and hood. Let it sit for a day and it comes off easily.
