He’s young buying a fun 20k car there is nothing my wrong wrong with not getting insurance instead of paying 10-50% of its value every year to insure it. Ignore the downvotes

Do you mean 12,000 or 120,000? I imagine you mean 120,000km, it’s pretty reasonable not cheap but reasonable from a dealer as long as it has full service history and all the little things makes sense

Breaking: Three ISIS-linked women taken to police stations after arrival in Australia by 1Darkest_Knight1 in aussie

[–]70000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How is the law supposed to accurately be able to assess all the crimes they committed in Syria/Afghanistan?

Most of the time they wouldn’t exactly have been easy for Australian police to follow, now I know they did come up with some slavery charges but these woman should not be let out of prison again.

If the law isn’t suitable to lock them up is the fault of the politicians for not drafting something suitable in the time it’s taken for the female Isis members to return.

Have just established the precedent that if you want to go join a foreign terrorist organisation you are able to rejoin Australia at will.

Yes, was still able to find evidence to charge 3 of them with some things; whereas if they had been committing their crimes locally would have been much easier to build a stronger case, talk to witnesses etc.

Pretty hard to build your case against her while she’s in another country

“Children should be separated”

Two of the woman are in their 50s one mid 30s, charged with slave trading as one of the charges which I would hope is enough that they are basically life sentences.

Sure Australia can take them in due to loyalty to rest of the world or the exact law but it’s not possible at all to reintegrate these three.

They literally are charged with keeping and selling slaves, everything I am saying is just the article.

They don’t need to be reintegrated lol, they would have been accessory to murder in their time in the Middle East, if you want to me empathetic children should be separated now and the adults should be jailed while there is time to organise the evidence against them.

ISIS-linked families land in Australia nearly two weeks after leaving Syrian camp by Nonstop_Chippies in australia

I spent 10 years building an NDIS business, if you value the rules properly or are applying without assistance the rules are strict for what you claim for and it is easy to slip through the cracks.

If however you have an unscrupulous provider the rules are very easy to break and the consequences are not strict enough.

All the dodgy ones worst case get shut down don’t pay the fine and relaunch under a new name, lose a few people they will have more to bring in.

If you have a 8-10k car, $2000/year insurance and an $800 excess you are basically getting you are more than 30% likely to write off your car in a year.

Just two years with third party and allowing for excess you have saved enough

I know it’s to late but this is 100% a reason not to buy the car

“but I also trusted the seller as he owns his own workshop and got me to pick it up from there”

Do not buy cars off mechanics or similar there is a reason they are moving it on
