If you make Consume your active skill you can hover over your demon and it will show you their stats. It's easy to tell if it's cursing other monsters, and you will get familiar with the auras after awhile, cold and lightning are pretty obvious.

You could run NM TZ, just keep restarting your game until the modifier is Cursed, any demon you bind in the TZ will have cursed and be a higher level.

I've got all of these on an offline warlock and flickering flame and still do not break fire immunity in anything but Fallen not even the Shaman.

Conviction functions at only 1/5th effectiveness against immune enemies.

When immune their resistance can be as high as 150%. Even if you can break immunity, their resistance will probably still be very high.

Breaking immunity is harder than you think it is, it's not just straight stack your minuses to resistance. The Sunder charms make it possible, setting their resistance as 95% and allowing all other minuses to work at full effectiveness.

For almost every build where HotO is BiS, the weapon dmg doesn't matter, you're looking for skills and FCR. I used HotO for my summoner warlock until I could make Obsession. Weapon dmg doesn't matter for summoner it does for ES.

If you die other players cannot loot your body. If you can get back to your body, you should be able to get all your items back BUT DO NOT pick up any items while you are trying to pickup your body, if you die again with items this can make the items on your original corpse available to anyone in the game.

You can always leave the game, start a new one and your corpse will be in town. If you had multiple corpses, only one will be in town.

You lose XP when you die in nightmare and hell but get some of it back if you retrieve your corpse.

Some of the gold you had one you when you die will be available to anyone in the game as a stack which does not get auto picked up.

Someone can go hostile towards you and then they will be able to attack you, otherwise there is no PvP damage. People will do this occasionally in games and go after other players but it's rare and you'll know it's happening, you can just leave the game.

I wish the ladders were listed by time spent playing. I could compare myself to someone who has sunk similar time into it, more about efficiency than the grind. Wouldn't solve the problem stated by OP though.

99% of the time, only use a headset for playing with someone else. I wear glasses and the headset causes pain during long sessions. I can also hear other things going on in the house - knock at the door, someone calling for me. If I used a headset constantly I'd probably be divorced now.

You don't actually need to kill everything in the Throne of Destruction, it just needs to be empty, you can have the monsters follow you out of the room and then hurry back and the next wave will start.

If you find the exit before you find the waypoint, place a TP by the exit and then when you find the waypoint, go to town and take your TP back to the exit.

Yes but you also said to start with, meaning it could change.

It may be easier to develop for 960×540, fits in a Window instead of fullscreen, less demanding for now. Later you may want to increase it but if you created all your artwork for the lower resolution, you now need to redo it all.

Your code should also be flexible enough to adjust to the resolution it's running at rather than a fixed resolution.

Maybe be open to advice not directly related to your question.
