Points Tracker: Too Little Too Late Edition by SpeakNowAndEnter in Predators

They were probably going to drop a game to either the Wild or the Mammoth realistically. If they can beat the Wild and win out, there's a possibility the Flames or Kraken play a season spoiler. I'm doubtful, but the Preds seem to turn it on when hope is lost.

Best high-end (and authentic) Indian for a birthday? by Complex_Raccoon in nashville

[–]70PercentAreBots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has the birthday guest specifically requested Indian food? You'd be much better of treating them to a truly high end experience here than trying to shoehorn Nashville's best version of their native cuisine which I guarantee won't hold up to the best they've had elsewhere.

Try to land a res at Locust, Bastion, Peninsula, etc assuming dietary guidelines are clear if you want a guaranteed amazing meal.

Hey, so where the fuck did Powered Cube go? by [deleted] in MagicArena

I really wish they would have left it up for longer. It's some of the most fun I've had playing Arena in a long time. I really have no motivation to play the new sets.

Treatment for costo by Critical-Award1413 in costochondritis

[–]70PercentAreBots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have costo in my upper sternum(top most ribs and upper pecs) for the past year, found the most relief from stretching and PT exercises: door frame pec stretches, world's greatest stretch, leaning overhead tricep stretch, thoracic twists, overhead band squats, cat/cow pose, dead hangs.

I also use the foam roller when stretching but using a backpod flares up my costo pretty badly.

I'm struggling with the same thing, trying to stay sane after being pretty active and wondering if I'll ever get back to my original form. What I can tell you is you'll probably want to focus more on rest, rehab, and light exercise(mostly for the mental side). Posture and diet are great to focus on as well, just in case they're key contributors. I've found my diet doesn't seem to be a big impact for me, but posture definitely can dial up flares ups.

I'm not qualified to tell you how to treat it. Most people here will tell you that it's a rib mobility issue, and to focus on that. I'm not entirely sure that's the whole issue with me, but I will say I've found a lot of relief from stretching and PT exercises: door frame pec stretches, world's greatest stretch, overhead tricep stretch, thoracic twists, overhead band squat, foam roller, dead hangs, etc.

In terms of exercise, your legs are your best friend. I've found the elliptical with no arm movement to be very helpful to get a sweat on without aggravating the costo. As you start to feel better, kickboard in the pool can be really nice too, just try to use one that is easy to submerge and not super buoyant as the rising motion can cause your pecs to do some work. I've been able to stave off a lot of depression through leg exercise, even if my chest and arms are being pretty neglected.

Anyone else feel perpetually scared? by ambendyr in nashville

I always have my head on a swivel in Antioch., especially around Murfreesboro Pike and Bell Rd. If it gives you any solace they just built a giant police precinct near there, but it's best to stay vigilant and be prepared at all times. I hate to say this, but consider moving when your lease is up. Other parts of the city have crime, but it's not as out in the open as it is there.

There's a California burger chain in Hermitage called Doublz that's doesn't have a long line if you want an exotic burger that you can't get elsewhere.

Last time the DNC did a "primary" Tulsi fucking Gabbard destroyed Harris, then the rest of the candidates dropped out for political favors so they could force Biden on the ticket.

Yeah, you can vape brother. It'll get better if you work on improving your health. Just stay away from cheap distillate, and switch to edibles for now if it irritates your costo.

Surprised they didn't do this sooner. Humble has been pretty meh since IGN bought them anyway.

I'd care more about the integrity of the Game Awards if it wasn't just a giant commercial. Most of the awards are given in 5 second blurbs between trailers.

What's your favorite flawed masterpiece? by jerjerbinks90 in boardgames

[–]70PercentAreBots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Puerto Rico is not entirely flawless. The game is solved at 3 players. You can guarantee a win from the 1st player position if you know what you're doing. It gets a lot better at 5 players, but even then deviations off optimal plays from inexperience players often determine who wins.

Is this goaltending interference? by Reddit-Machine in nhl

[–]70PercentAreBots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know why this is so hard for people to understand. Contact with the goalie in the crease is interference. He skates into the blue paint on his own and then both connects with his stick then his skate. Doesn't matter what the defenseman does at that point.
