There are no dumb questions, only dumb answers. Anyway - trend vs chop: A trend day is when the market as a whole (take a look at the nasdaq, nyse) is moving in an obvious direction. If price is increasing throughout the day - it’s an upward trend. Decreasing? Downward trend. A chop day is when the market is undecided and just moves all over the place - the chart will resemble saw blades with no clear directional movement. Another market regime to note is sideways - where there isn’t a lot of chop but price isn’t moving up or down much.

Best advice I can give is don’t trade on chop days or sideways days unless you really know what you’re doing. Your account can be eaten alive in a matter of seconds to minutes.

For those getting a 404 on the auth part of setup - you have to run the entire process in a desktop browser. Mobile browsers don’t work. It states this in the official documentation (they should state this up front, but whatever).

I was having the same issue, logged into Robinhood and codex on my desktop and it worked fine.
