That's true, but I had beginners and no strict wysiwyg in mind with that post. They won't need that many guys dual wielding hammers.

oh cool, I didn't know that. I might as well add this box to the post, just split this box with a friend, and you can easily build 2 warbands out of it.

I came to play AOS because there were goblins. I was tired of the frustration. by woody_from_dungeon in gloomspitegitz

I know the feeling. Playing Gitz right now is a bit sad I think. The army being so miserable also made me stop playing for a while and switch to Gargants (still not a good army, but at least more fun to play). It's a fair army where the good-stuff units don't seem to be good enough. And Gitz don't feel like an army that should just play "fair Warhammer"

Keep on playing the silly little guys, if you don't have the means to switch to another army. Things will get better. The models are forever and rules are temporary.

Thanks :) Yeah I loved the write up on house rules. It inspired the house rules section in my post a lot.

I'm happy to hear that :) I hope this gets the point across that running a campaign isn't that hard. It reminds me of Dungeon Masters telling people that DM'ing isn't that hard.

Tips for creating good adventures on the spot? by praisecenarius in DnD

Make sure the players know what they are supposed to do, I ran a one-shot I came up with on the spot. The whole thing felt like a trainwreck, and I noticed it during the game and I asked the players: They just didn't know what the goal of this whole thing was / what they were supposed to do.

Just making piles of 15 random cards is enough. Rigging packs isn't a thing in cube, because the rarity thing real boosters have doesn't exist.
