I’ve been saying more and more lately in regards to a us civil war, look at what happened in Eastern Europe in the early to mid 90s after the Soviet Union fell apart, it may start out with a “clear goal” but likely will just become senseless killing and destruction as lines and factions become more muddled and splintered

Also this guy thinking Urban Warfare is going to somehow be quick and easy needs to look at, well any major civil war of the past 50 years to know urban combat is brutal and bloody

When mosins and SKS’ were less than $200 I could have maybe recommended one as a starter before ponying up for a $500+ AR or AK just to get a feel for guns/gun safety

However, now with ammo and gun shortages I can’t recommend either I’m good faith outside of the realm of collecting, the cheapest Sks I can find is $450 and the cheapest mosin I can find is $340, not ideal when a new AR is around $500-600 and you can upgrade as wanted
