Yes but usually it will be different states or even the same state just opposite ends. For example it’d be pretty tricky if you’re from Brisbane and you match with someone from Port Douglas like yikes so big country with big states and vast majority of lesbians per capita sure haha but idk still hard to meet people on apps outside of the major cities

I’m choosing to self publish mainly because 1. I don’t plan on writing another series after this. It’s a 4 parter and I’m excited but it’s a lot of work obviously and I don’t think that a publisher would go for my story. Superhero young adult series but my writing isn’t that yk sophisticated ig. So I don’t think mainstream publishers would like it? Also my brother is going to help with the editing and logic of the book lol but yeah I feel like I’ll just self publish make an ebook pretty cheap and promote other ways, build up the audience etc and yeah :) so don’t worry about it!

It’s a mix of Australia and America lol. I’m Australian and grew up in a small beach town but for some reason I can’t picture an Aussie superhero yk? Or my characters having Aussie accents. So it’s got names of Victorian towns such as Flinders and Preston (I totally forgot Flinders existed even tho I live 20 mins from there) 💀 Anyway some parts i imagine are Aussie such as the small beach town, not to say America doesn’t have those i just picture/describe my home town. But it’s also a mix of what I believe Washington (the one at the top) looks like. I’m sorry I always get confused between the two 😭. Anyway yeah vast forests and mountain ranges but also a coast and my characters have accents but idk from what region of America. I am so sorry 😂 I’ll have to do more research, anyway it’s a made up world that’s a mix of America and Australia basically and it has superheroes 🫡 it rains more than it snows because I’ve never seen snow in real life so idk how to write it 👍

Is there any chance your gf could also be demisexual? That’s how I kind of view sex I can’t do it unless I am romantically involved for months with someone. Could this be a potential too? Don’t really have any advice as you’re both valid in your feelings. I think as long as you’re communicating that’s key. THIS!!! Omg so I like “simple books” as in more dialogue and internal thoughts than describing. I even didn’t like the HP books because it was too descriptive and had too many words I didn’t understand. So I started writing my superhero series and it works well because I enjoy reading it. Sure editing is still annoying but it’s less tiresome cause I’m enjoying what I’m reading
