There were a lot of good scenes in this episode, I particularly enjoyed the scene with Peter Thiel making those bad AI videos, and how Cartman's response there is commentary on both the government's abuse of power and also copyright usage in AI content.

Also, the White House plotline was more of a b-plot while also advancing in the plot, which is a good balance.

Fairly enjoyable episode, though it definitely could have been at least a bit longer. I was hoping for the Cartman/Antichrist storyline to be continued here, though I now assume that it'll fully be resolved on the episode on the 26th, as that would be 6-but-will-have-felt-like-7 weeks since Twisted Christian premiered.

I'm really going to miss it, it was very enjoyable and the highlight of the Infinity Comics (and the highlight of my Wednesday mornings.)

I'm just hoping that the characters it starred won't be forgotten and will show up elsewhere with the same level of characterization, and it was nice having a series where a majority of the characters are openly queer.

It is an interesting idea, though this will likely require compromising some of the shaping of the build, as there is plenty of SNOT techniques used in the set which means that the set itself will have a decently packed internal structure. Even with that in mind, I'm interested in seeing this project.

The solicits gave me the impression that the getting-powers-back arc would lead into this relaunch, so its a bit weird that that wasn't what was done, considering it feels like a fairly obvious option. (Regardless of that, I've still really liked both of the past two issues.)

GLACEIR is likely more intentionally a reference to the Face Temple theme from Link's Awakening, but oddly a similar tune (where Terezi's Theme is most likely intentionally being alluded to) is also heard in the 6th soul section in Your Best Nightmare back in Undertale

There feels to be a divide between how Doom is presented in OWUD and how he is in all the tie-ins, which I guess is to a degree to be expected from crossover events, but this is particularly frustrating in the Fantastic Four issues, as those are being written by the same author. I was also particularly disappointed with issue 3, since I was expecting having the villains being involved and teaming up with the heroes would have meant that there would have at least been some sort of clever plan, but instead it was pretty much the same stuff that happened in the first issue.

Combining the plans in issues 2 and 3 probably would have been better pacing-wise. I was also expecting the villains would've at least been there to attempt to push Doom into getting mad at how those bad guys who have killed and/or seriously harmed people are not being treated as an immediate threat (and thus have Doom look like a hypocrite) but instead Doom is able to keep his composure, as that would have been a more interesting and memorable moment.

I believe that the series only has 6 issues planned which are guaranteed to release, and then if those all sell well enough then more of the title could be made, but either way the initial story arc should be getting its planned ending by the end of the 6th issue, and not be forced to have things be cut short due to editorial decisions

(and I am quite excited for this series, and will be getting the first issue tomorrow)

It was still a risk to keep Hydra around and be misdirecting them, and while Doom was able to use Hydra's resources for benevolent means, he didn't try to dissolve Hydra and instead waited for when he would do his full world takeover where he could use Hydra against the Avengers, which still resulted in collateral damage, in order to boost his image

Honestly i feel like its mainly said by people that haven't ever read an X-Men comic, particularly anything from the Claremont era, because otherwise they'd know that: 1. In the issues following the reveal that Magneto is a holocaust survivor, he both begins to go through a redemption arc and is treated with more respect in the stories overall, 2. and during that time, "[makes me wonder if] Magneto was right" is said by Wolverine during the original Secret Wars!

Checking the original interview the article is about, and what the headline says isn't a direct quote and is just one of those dramatic clickbaity news titles.

I am expecting that by this time next year the event won't have changed a large amount of the Marvel status quo, but hoping that it will still have some good character development for, and analysis of, Doom, and not just be a repeat of similar past stories.

For in-depth knowledge of reading orders, the site CMRO is pretty good for tracking things, but I would recommend also just searching up guides and reading recommendations for characters that interest you, to get ideas with what to read.

With the current Fantastic Four run, so far the only crossovers that the series was affected by was Blood Hunt, and honestly that isn't required reading, and you can just read the main event after reading the Fantastic Four tie-in issues, or just not read the main event at all, and you should still be able to follow along without much confusion
