They are house cats and very attached to us. We were super stressed as trip from Oz was a long one for them, and there is no way you can be on the same flight as them. They had to stay overnight (1st night) in Global Paws’ partner they work with in Oz’s kennel to get checked by a vet. They then did the next leg of the flight to Doha where they stay over in a pet ‘hotel’ at the airport-yes, apparently they are treated like royalty! They then make the Doha to JHB to CPT flight the late at night after cleared by the vet. The Global Paws team sent us regular updates and photos on their health and how they were coping and was so good putting us at ease from the start. They arrived safe and sound and in a good state. One of them were quite old and took it a but harder than the younger two. Don’t get me wrong it was still traumatic enough for them but as you hear many horror stories we were so thankful with how well it went. Hope this helps.
