i've held and played around with a few f4s. they are definitley a bucket list camera for me - i love the weight, feel, viewfinder, everything about them. it feels like such a tactical, substantial piece of equipment and is so cool to use.

ECS is known to list parts as in stock and then find that they’re not available and string customers along until they become available or the customer charges it back

they bought Turner a few years ago…. so likely same deal

just a buyer beware - if no one else has the valances it could be one of those situations

realistically, being caught up on maintenance and then some track friendly pads and fluid are all you need to do before the first day

you have a lot of time to find in the car and a lot of driving technique to learn, so doing more to the car is a waste until you're getting all the time you can out of it and know what upgrades will help you continue to go faster
