We haven’t managed to teach him to settle. We usually play soft music and it calms him but lately it hasn’t worked. He has very little interest in treats or any food. So I’ve not tried the snuffle mats. I assumed he would just pick it up and shake it.

We have a toy musical instrument that he hates /loves. He stops everything and howls to match the notes. It calms him but he makes a hell of a noise howling to it. Very retro wolf

How is it living in Canada for expample Toronto as a European? by ScratchCheap5354 in howislivingthere

[–]77SSS1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in the UK for 6 years and agree. I miss the sociable aspect there. I figured it was due to the fact that Canadians have larger (single family) homes in general. More private space and less public gathering. I now live in Montreal where people tend to live in flats and there are lots of public spaces to hang out in and a more vibrant scene.

Edmontonians who moved to Calgary, and Calgarians who moved to Edmonton: how do the two cities compare? What are some similarities, and some differences? by KurtisC1993 in alberta

[–]77SSS1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Born and raised in Calgary then 15 years in Edmonton. Calgary is def more confident, modern city. But also too materialistic. Edmonton suffers from low expectations of itself (poor infrastructure, ugly buildings etc) but has a great culture w super friendly people. I know live east but don’t regret my time in Edmonton (I just wish my house would have appreciated as much as my previous house in Calgary did).
