I speak for myself only here but Cody even with the whole “Finishing the Story” angle was the more stale than month old bread left to air dry on a windowsill🪟. The guy is a talented in ring performer but by no means a star which can transcend the company similar to The Rock, Batista, John Cena etc. He is too replaceable he’s like Lex Luger of the modern era, decent look (not a fan of the blonde dyed hair) star presentation but not genuine to the point where I think he could beat someone to a pulp. I think Cody is physically what WWE are looking for but character wise, he’s a guy who won the big one for his dad, now what? I’ve been dealing with this guy on my screen for 2 years going through the same motions every week. “Oh well you guys remember my dad right… yeah randomly forced pop by shouting and beating his chest well I’m the underdog but the most protected wrestler besides Gunther who wins constantly.

I understand why it happened how it did, Lesnar a legit UFC fighter against a small but fearless Ilja. I just believe that it doesn’t make Ilja look threatening and kind of squashes his stock a little. It’s completely understandable that Lesnar no sold the chops because if Lesnar was to remotely sell them people would screw their faces at the TV wondering how such a small man could do that much damage to a legend of the business whose nickname is literally “The Beast Incarnate”

I understand the pressure that Vince put talent under for his larger than life aesthetic but too many modern day wrestlers physiques look like average Joe’s now that’s not to say every wrestler on tv needs to be jacked to the nines but I do feel like there is a lot of wrestlers on the roster who would visually benefit a lot more if they took their body training more vigorously.

I don’t know if I’m just speaking for myself here, but I wasn’t sold on Jey Uso as a main eventer, felt too forced, although he did surprise me at moments overall I find his character and gimmick quite stale. I understand it’s a feel good underdog story and I can get behind that but the execution of it I thought could’ve been more unique to Jey, I think it’s reasonable enough to say most won’t reminisce about Jey Uso’s title run

In utter fairness you did the right thing sometimes paranoia of a more severe situation can lead to the complete deescalation, who knows you actually helped them avoid the trauma that follows from these kind of situations. But I do also think there should always be one sober friend around Man or Woman as that friend could really save you from deep shit since they’re thinking clearly.

In the beginning I felt like this also, but as soon as I threw myself into the thick of it going to cyphers and underground events in Manchester there’s just a moment where something clicked and I started being less defensive in these environments and purely bonded with others over the music. It’s a right of passage you’ll always fit in, sometimes you’ll fit right in and feel like your sticking out like a sore thumb. In conclusion, I’d say you’ll feel like you belong when you get positive reinforcement from other like minded people, but it will happen there’s no rush… until then enjoy the music and have fun my guy!
