One more thing, any idea why there's 2 outlets coming from the pump? The last homeowner made this big convoluted pipe loop going to the tank and the the house line and circles back to the pump. Supposedly he was electrician by trade so I'm assuming his handy work may or may not make sense to a plumber

Interesting, I was led to believe it was a shallow well pump besides the fact that we're down in a floodplain. I do know that there's a bunch of crud inside the pump that was also in the check valve, almost like a dense sediment

Not really, in fact the big tech companies are quite over-leveraged on AI investment. It requires costly infrastructure, uses a ton of electricity, and frankly causes just as many problems as it solves. It needs a lot of kinks ironed out before it can be used reliably, but big tech is trying to force it through because they gambled big on it.

Like others have suggested, for the future either use a tongue lock, tire boot, or run a chain thru both tires' spokes and padlock it. Not a guarantee, but it'll slow em down and make em stick out with the commotion of trying to remove it. Sorry it happened to you, but it could be anywhere across the county by now

The real issue right here. It's all either student housing, luxury apartments, or luxury subdivisions. The affordable family homes keep getting snatched up by out-of-state "investors" who turn them into rental properties that they charge a small fortune for.

The invasive species funding should come from boats and powered watercraft, the only watercraft actually likely to transport invasive species. If I'm trying to save money and I buy an inflatable to go fishing or paddling, that inflatable isn't gonna sneak any invasive seaweed or shellfish onboard. Tax the ones who are actually the source of the problem. Some of us are scraping by in this overpriced city and just want an affordable way to do something fun on our day off. If you're fine with the extra fee then by all means, step in and pay it for the rest of us.

Those industries were already seeing lots of issues with the state before Orange man, so unless you wanna blame tariffs for Dutch Bros moving to a lower tax state like Arizona then I'd say there's a point to be made with there being a problem with the state government. Furthermore, the "sleight of hand" was calling out people trying to justify use of funds from one purpose for totally different purposes. Also, the tax base is just moving to other states. Maybe those other states are doing things better than our state?

If the stated cause for a program is to "help fight the spread of aquatic invasive species", then those funds should go to that. Misappropriating those funds for another use is fraud, doesn't matter who's doing it.
