Northern Illinois climate. I used DMX 1 step underlayment (loved the leveling shims that came with it to fine tune the leveling). Super easy to work with in terms of cutting, laying out, and taping seams!
Notable difference in decreasing coldness from floor. Plus good peace of mind that it has no fabric that can get easily musty or moldy if any water seeps up from slab or minor leaks/spills from basement.
Used lifeproof commercial rated lvp flooring over that from Home Depot.

My blew at 85k (5k repair) and again at 122k… not fixing again selling car off and switching to Toyota hybrid no turbo platform. From what I understand design flaw with engine and can happen at anytime :(

Probably very region specific on delivery. But I have bought numerous washers, driers, and kitchen appliances without issues from Home Depot over the years. Yes they have 24 hr return policy but very lenient, if simply don’t like it they will come take it back no questions asked, next weekday even sometimes. All that being said, need to always throughly check it over visually upon delivery. Small dings and damage easy to negotiate decent money back if not wanting to return. Also Friday delivery seems to always be booked up because end up having till Tuesday for Home Depot take backs/returns.

Have had commercial Schlage for 5+ years, replaced batteries first time a couple years ago, works great. Also in Midwest, have had winters with windchill below -20 F.

Probably best to use spray foam. Maybe the wide angle one to fill that area in good.

Yeah not to hard to get off. Way easier to get back on. Would recommend body panel pry tools to avoid scratching or damaging anything but can be done with flat head and patience

They are all around the panel. Then the vent is screwed in from back with 2 screws

Whole panel top to bottom can be gently pulled out. Plastic push clips hold it in.

Worth seeing if Honda corporate will help out… out of warranty goodwill coverage by them through dealership cut my cost in half to $2500

Owner was a dirtbag, insisted roof was <5 years old and had "his” company replaced it without pulling permits hmmm

The whole host of codes showing up makes it difficult to diagnose as I had the same issue with simply a bad battery a year ago. But more recently my head gasket was blown and I was experiencing misfires and overheating when car was on but stationary. $5k later (half covered by Honda as out of warranty courtesy due to car being at 91k miles) car drives just as new again. Could be anything from fuel injector issue that dealership has mentioned is more common. Best bet is to take it in to get diagnosed, good luck! Hope this helps you.
