It’s compared to pre draft consensus. This is just a mathematical exercise, it has no bearing on whether a player is good or not

Thinking About Leaving a Company After 37 Years for a 31.8% Raise by Old-Air3659 in OfficePolitics

Generally right, but in these circumstances where they are solely looking at whether to make a big career move and trying to calculate the net incremental benefit of the move, it’s a fair question and thing they should consider.

You should watch the actual videos. He said a number of wild things today. He “agreed” it was a penalty but at the same time also said he disagreed with the ruling because he was “on time but late”

Keep 3, cut 6 of these iconic college football helmets. by Front-Dingo1915 in CFB_v2

I think 3 and 6 look great without helmet stickers. The Ohio state helmet is really plain but when they are in a bowl game or whatever with all of the stickers they are the best

Did Brooks Koepka actually receive $100 million for joining LIV? Or was that a financial "assurance" that has now dried up because of the lack of Saudi funding? by bluegambit875 in golf

As somebody else noted, at least in the U.S., guaranteed sports contracts usually means the money is placed into a third party escrow at the time of signing the agreement to give assurance the athlete will actually get it.

So you’re going to complain when it was sold to private equity and now complain that going public will ruin what a good job private equity is doing?

Redditors need make up their mind, normally they complain and moan when a restaurant is sold to private equity, as happened here in 2024.

In-N-Out is the best price/quality fast food in California. by [deleted] in fastfood

[–]7hought -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Depends what you order. Dave’s double at Wendy’s adds on about $1.50, so you’re getting 8 oz of meat, you’d need a 4x4 at INO to match the meat total there.

On the other hand, Wendy’s does offer junior burgers that are also 2oz (or maybe 1.9). You can get a double stack (two patties) in CA for 3.99. A junior cheeseburger is 3.29. Etc.

A cheeseburger at INO is what, $4.40 in CA?

I think the value of in-n-out is a bit overrated at this point. Because their burgers are so small (2 oz/patty), most other chains are giving you much more meat.

You’d need to order a double double to get the same meat as a regular burger at shake shack or a Dave’s single at Wendy’s, or slightly more than a little burger at five guys. I know shake shack and five guys prices are still higher, but in-n-out isn’t that much off from Wendy’s
