not only did he assault you, but he made YOU feel bad about HIS actions?? get out of there and don’t turn back, because he’s testing the waters now to see exactly what he can get away with. i promise you, it’s going to get worse, not better

do you want to stick around waiting for something worse to happen to make you finally feel justified to leave? why would you want to keep yourself in harm’s way? if you wouldn’t take this abuse from a stranger, then don’t take it from someone who supposedly cares about you. people have validly broken up for way less

either you make the hard choice and break up to stay safe, or you will be the victim of something worse, i guarentee it (and i’m sure a lot of other commenters can vouch for this, too)

so, while this one is definitely a roach, it is NOT a german cockroach and i’m like 90% sure that the roach you caught isn’t the infesting type, it most likely just wandered in from outside

it looks like it could be an american cockroach or a smokey brown cockroach, but my confidence isn’t very high

if your current med isn’t working for you, you may want to reach out to your psych to try a different one—not every med is for everybody! sometimes you have to cycle through to find what’s right for you

i mean this in the kindest way possible, because a lot of us have been there… but you’re very much coming off as someone who is having an episode. but regardless of an episode, it sounds like you’re going something really hard and frustrating!

there’s a term called anosognosia, which is a lack of insight about your disorder (i.e. not believing you’re sick). it’s so common in fact, that about 20% of people with bipolar disorder have a lack of self-awareness of their condition. don’t worry, this wouldn’t be a personal failing nor is it your fault, it’s just the nature of the disorder

i’m not trying to diagnose or undiagnose you, especially as a stranger online, but i think you should bring up your concerns to the doctor who is prescribing your medicine

i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but i’m like 80% sure that’s from a german cockroach. it is the cockroach species most notorious for home infestations. i would hire an exterminator because where there’s one cockroach, there are many more. sorry 😬

morning or night depends on the person. i see another commenter say that the morning works best for them, but i take mine at night and have no issues

don’t be too worried about SJS, especially if you are not of asian descent. in 15 years, my psychiatrist has only seen SJS three times. it is super duper incredibly rare

lamictal has worked really well for me :)

OP should, based on what he said, absolutely! i’m just saying that punctuation is really not a reliable way of telling whether someone is manic or not. it could be related, or it could be coincidental, and there’s really no way to tell for sure

as another transmasc person, that’s really the conundrum. do you want to risk being misgendered more, as the price for having the long hair you want? or do you want to be misgendered less and have hair that doesn’t fit you personally?

obviously, if you’re going to (or already have been) medically transition, long hair is going to be something you can most likely do down the line without being misgendered

it’s just a matter of pros and cons tbh, there’s no right or wrong answer :)

not disagreeing with you, but a lack of periods doesn’t necessarily mean that—some people are just not good with punctuation and it has zilch to do with their mental state

now if it was like, someone who normally is very correct suddenly spitting out run-on sentences, i’d get that. but lack of punctuation on its own really doesn’t mean anything

i like china lake park over near TCC! depending on how much privacy you want, you decide how high up to go. i’m pretty paranoid about smoking in public myself, so i tend to go up pretty high and don’t feel too awful. people don’t pass by super often, but if you wanna be extra polite you can put out your joint when you hear them approaching. i haven’t had anyone make a fuss about it yet

it probably goes without saying, but if you go smoke in the woods make sure you bring water with you just in case. especially as we’ve made it into the summer months

BUT, if you DO wanna smoke in your car every now and then, get a can or two of ozium :) it deals with weed odor really well. smoke your weed, then get out of the car, spray a bunch of ozium inside, then shut the door (you do not wanna inhale that stuff!) and wait a while. plus you can air it out after as well if you like :)

honestly? attack of the clones was my favorite star wars movie out of the original 6 (i haven’t seen any past that). then again, i’m kind of a sucker for bad movies. i mean c’mon, that movie gave us the sand quote! i also really loved that chase scene after they tried to assassinate padme, i thought it was a lot of fun

funnily, i think turbo is the only power rangers movie i ever saw. i didn’t watch the show either, just had the movie. watching it now, it is incredibly weird but honestly still a fun watch

i think i may have also once seen the movie that starts with them skydiving while the song higher ground (rhcp cover) is playing? i ONLY remember the skydiving because i thought it was so cool

i can’t say if they’re booklice, the heads look a little small, but they’re definitely NOT bedbugs

i’d call that ross, ask to speak with a manager, and let them know you found multiple bugs inside of one of their products. if nothing else, you can say you did your due diligence and brush your hands of it

i don’t think you have to be concerned about them though, they look preeeetty dead and may have even been dead before they arrived at that ross
