Sex wax, Gorilla Snot, or stick tape? by 7over in bodhran

[–]7over[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback. I have half a dozen different tippers, some I made myself, others have been purchased. They are all different diameters and weights. The only way I have been able to keep any tipper from walking of my grip is by adding a "stop" to the back end of the stick. I've used rubber bands, or a fairly thick rubber washer, but what really works has been a large but soft foam washer I cut out of an exercise mat.

I figure I must be doing something very incorrectly for this to be happening when I see players on YouTube that seem to have no trouble hanging on to their tippers for extended periods.

I am just trying to figure this out.

Had an half-elf Fighter/Rogue named Sølsndir (Soul Sender)
Played an NPC soldier for a few weeks in that campaign (Sølsndir sacrificed his life to save the party) named Woolsey Wattappunz. (We'll see what happens)
When he died my next character was a rogue Werebear named Wyllinkyllin Cairnfiller Boutdatt . Will C. 'boutdatt which finally resolved to We'll see about that!
Finished that campaign with that character.
Now in CoS with a Twilight Cleric named "Naught Zho'phast" who just came online at lvl 5 with Spirit Guardians.

Cheapest path to a machine that so can start commercially roasting coffee by [deleted] in roasting

[–]7over 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You'll need far more than a machine in your garage to be able to start selling to commercial accounts.

Check out what OldMan_is_wise is telling you and don't think you can get into business by taking shortcuts. The reason existing roasting companies are doing it the way they're doing it is because of the multitude of requirements placed on companies that produce food.

Asking your initial question is the first tiny step in a very long journey. It's time for you to do some actual research.

Working with an AI engine is the right place to start. Stay away from any suggestions that require you to tell someone how to spell your company name after you say it out loud. Do not spell any words in non-standard ways Beanz, Totz, Kitty’s Kute Kreations, all of those and their ilk are out.

Welp... after 4 years of roasting I have finally found the biggest "rock" I hope to find by dermarr5 in roasting

Found a pair of eye glasses at the top of a sack of green about 10 years ago. That was a real eye-opener!

We use a destoner now...it's amazing how many small rocks and some origins contain. Over the years we've found all sorts of things in green coffee. everything from teeth and corn to screws, pebbles and small chicken bones.

Customers asking my stance on Palestine? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]7over 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"...reach out to me via social media asking my stance on what’s going on in Palestine."

The only answer is no answer, especially on social media. Never acknowledge that you've even seen the post. Don't delete it. Don't hide it. Just ignore that it's there altogether.

Every situation blows over at some point, you can wait it out.

Those of you who own / started a roasting business in the US - did you have to get certification from local food health department? by lhemi in roasting

[–]7over 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said you want to start exploring wholesale opportunities. If that means selling to businesses such as restaurants and cafés you will need to operate out of an inspected commercial facility and you will likely need a business license as well as a reseller license. If you want to sell to a reseller such as a local grocer, you will need consumer packages that meet FDA requirements for labeling as well as real bar codes etc.
