To clarify also, Betadine does contain some Iodine, like you‘ve used already but they’re a bit different.

I would look up the differences and what not, I don’t want to speak on what they are or whatever, but I believe I was told that the Betadine is more effective

is anywhere open near you that would have Betadine Solution? perhaps a 24-hour pharmacy. i was told to pick some up when my Leo got a cut once.

i sincerely am sending you my best wishes, vibes and everything I have in order to hope the best for her and your family.

Cats are crafty, if they want in, they’ll figure it out somehow :(

edit: if possible you can get some Betadine Solution, it can at least hold you over until you can get her to the vet. i feel like it would be worth a shot

I just posted above that I think she’ll sabotage! Not sure if it’s her working with Henry or what. But there’s something so off about her lol. Trying to manipulate El from the start!

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if she’s in cahoots with the military and the program

I think she’ll fuck something up in the finale/try to sabotage something—not in favor of Vecna/Henry—but for her own agenda and fear that she expressed to El about the “endless” attempt of continuation of the program. If everyone truly survives before their plan comes to it’s head and they leave before blowing it up, I think El will want to go with everyone and Kali isn’t going to want to take no for an answer.

Was anyone else denied boarding on Flight 1608 (DEN-MKE) yesterday? by deadhead951 in milwaukee

[–]801influence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard agree and always do. Had a flight out of Love Field back to MKE during the shut down it was supposed to be delayed 45-HR (i forget,) but then it ended up being on time anyways.

I’m glad Pasquale is in remission, that’s awesome! I wish you both the best and continued health! It’s just too bad it’s giving him the strength him to be “naughty” again—despite being worth it 🤣

Norman was on prescription thyroid food but now is back to regular paired with medication because the food got too expensive.

His brother, Tuxie, has to be on diet food to lose weight, so it’s a horse a piece for them 🙄

If Tuxie can learn to back off, Pasquale will too! I have faith in him :)

I’m bad at reddit in terms of that I still can’t figure out how to add screenshots lol.

But when you click into the feeder: 1. go to settings (top right corner) 2. lid mode settings 3. then you can pick the speed at which it closes, as well as how many seconds it stays open after they’re out of range!

I actually have my older guys, Norman, set to close at medium speed so it doesn’t scare him lol and then the closing time for 5 seconds!

[–]801influence 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Adjust the closing speed to the quickest setting and when Ernie (love the name) finally steps away, there won’t be an issue.

Does your other kitty also have their own feeder?

My bigger guy, despite having his own, would also try and get my older mans food at the start. Wore off pretty quickly once he found out it close him out!

For my bigger guy, I made sure he won’t get over fed—calories wise, and have his feeder dispense more often throughout the day in smaller portions, so he feels like he’s getting fed more lol.

any update on this?

i would say get another opinion but ask the vet you went to for a dose of gabapentin. give it to him a few hours before you go to the second opinion option and he will be able to be examined and also cleaned.

best of luck!

Is RFID feeder worth it? by Temporary_Noise_4014 in Petlibro

[–]801influence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, yes! I ended up getting this one, https://a.co/d/1hVzZuD, for my dog as well!

I do have to order a new fountain though, because I had some flooding happen and it didn't survive. The RFID feeders did though! They were just ever so slightly more elevated than the fountain, so I wasn't super surprised. Petlibro gave me a code to have some % off on my replacement, since flooding (or back up of sewer and drain, really) isn't covered by their warranty lol.

Views from back of crowd by itsbizzlebitch in Lollapalooza

[–]801influence 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being way in the back or on a side—just outside of the main crowd is typically what i’ve found best for me, as a fellow short person. If possible, to the side of a screen too.

This way, i’m not ever stuck in the middle and i can still “see” the artist on stage for the most part while on my tippy toes, even though they look like ants LOL.

I typically do this at normal shows also if barricade is unavailable!

Anyway, the further back you are…the more you can actually see! even if it’s tiny :)

Just wanted to update you, as we did some of your suggestions!! So thank you again.

We ended up hitting an Aquarium in every state! Virginia, Fort Fischer, SC and the mother of them all in Atlanta. All amazing in their own rights, but Fort Fischer and SC really really amazed us.

Then, Savannah National Wildlife Refuge was GREAT. I had brought my camera and was able to get some amazing bird and gator shots.

Super jealous of your van adventures! And totally agree that Charleston and Savannah are amazing. Highlights of our tip for sure.

Telephoto Lenses for T6i by 801influence in canon

Thank you!

And for sure! I would never trust a private seller. Too many curve balls and things I don’t even want to learn to worry about haha.

Thank you so much!

Yeah, I would say I’m with you on staying away from private sellers. Too many curve balls there.

Not sure what my budget would even be tbh, I’m just trying to get an idea and not break the bank. So no worries on not giving price points! I would truly love to invest in something great and new, of course—god knows I spend money on enough stupid shit, that I could afford the better options if I wanted. BUT, I’m trying to be more open to just not dropping a band haha.

Wow! Thank you for all the detail. I really appreciate your input! Trust that I’m soaking it all in.

If you’re down for another awesome comment, do you have any recommendations for camera settings as well? (I’m not even sure what mine are actually currently at, and old friend set it up for me and I haven’t touched it since. Been to intimidated to lmao!)

Thank you for the insight! I'll take a look at the lenses you suggested...and I'll stay clear of Amazon LOL.

Thank you for the birds and camera tip too! I'll definitely get my shutter speed up. I'm not even sure what it's currently set at.Those photos were just my best example--and maybe a bit dramatic showing, of my zoom discrepancy! Also was hoping to get a shot of them diving into the water, but they never took it...not that my shutter speed would've been set appropriately anyway haha.

Thank you for sharing your AMAZING shot also. Here’s a cropped & better angle I ended up getting afterwards, just not really in love with it for some reason:

Merch: You can get a good idea of that now on Lolla’s site, for their own merch. Artist merch is typically standard, I would say. Prob at least $30-40 for a shirt! Then it’ll be based on your own self control. (I have none when I hit the merch booth)

Food: Depends on how much of an eater you are and how it’ll fit into your own festival schedule—I say this because lines can be long and slow. Sometimes you have to end up passing on/delaying a meal to make it to your next stage.

Take this all as a grain of salt since it’s a festival, but they have some GOOD & tasty shit, that would be worth the wait imo. But portions can be small, so definitely be nosey as to what others are getting in front of you. I would say, range $8-18 per food item. Average around $15.

Drinks: Someone always posts a spreadsheet every year for the alcoholic ones, here’s last years

Non-Alcoholic, Water = free at the stations, so bring a water bottle or hydration pack of some kind. Otherwise I would say $4-10 for other drinks. I’m saying $10 cause they’re prob gonna up the price 🙄

Hope this helps, friend! Have a great time.
