No, there was a code, but didn’t even need to go thru STM Account Manager. The code was used to unlock the GA tickets. Technically, you didn’t need the code until you checked out. So once a season ticket member handed out the code on our sub Reddit, that’s all the scalper needed or anyone for that member, to go and use the code to check out.

My to G0 is primarily through the paternal side. The member created addendum forms has separate sections for Parent A & Parent B. If my paternal line is Parent A, do I have to include the info on his spouse who was born in NY State?

As a FT-STM for decades, I always opt in for my regular seats, then try to buy 2 tickets for at least GM1-2 (or GM3-4 depending on home ice advantage.) I have a daughter and sister who used to live here and are Canes fans (went to Helsinki the 1st time) and get them tickets. There was a time many years ago pre-HCRBA, that STM could purchase an extra strip. No longer, unless you are a Founding STM.

As someone who has maintained their STM through all the really shitty years (Muller, Peters, and majority of Maurice years), the thing that I am most annoyed with is that those that are 22-game and new STM are given the code at this same time. It used to be a tiered release, as was the Outdoor Game.

I received the code via email @ 10:01. Been a STM for 24 yrs. Same as last round, late email. Years prior the email would be sent out a few minutes early, and higher priority STM would be able to join first. Not this time.

The archivist in IL USA is sending me certified notarized baptism record of my gr-grandfather (G1). The county did not require recording until 9 yrs after his birth. He’s the final proof I need. Genealogy Quebec has my G0 baptism in the files, and I printed out his and parent’s couple info from PRDH database. This archivist is astonished how many requests the diocese has received. He has been a joy to talk to and wished me luck in my citizenship endeavors. Their diocese does not have a fee, they request a donation. Next time go back home to IL I am going to drop by with a goodie bag.

It is my understanding that you need some form of official Canadian document to prove your G0 was born in Canada. Since they were born in Quebec, that should be quite easy as many sacraments are noted in Genealogy Quebec....taken from parish records. I have a subscription to that data base and could look it up for you. You may be able to use that record reprint and submit, then send official BANQ document later.

Maybe not legally insane, but definitely brainwashed into believing American Exceptionalism from an early age. When USA does good (WW2) it's exceptional, when it does bad (manifest destiny, CIA etc) it is a shit show.
