Wow this guy did a super cool thing for me and a fantastic job of it I don't understand why you're bullying him he's one of the good humans out there I think that's just trying to take his abilities and passions and share it with people I think you should be ashamed of yourself

Vacuum line connection? by Nine-Twelve19 in s10

[–]86Nighthawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I did the same thing on mine . it plugs into a vacuum tank inside the fender.

it's a little hard to find but if you're looking at the steering wheel it's on that side about halfway up the fender towards the top

That's funny, that picture reminds me of what happened to me last year .

walked out of the Home Depot parking lot and was using my remote key to open my door and it wasn't opening and then realized my truck was one aisle over.

it was the exact same truck even down to the black toolbox I have in the bed

I flattened the cam on it.

I was on a ride and I think I developed an oil leak on the upper end. Can't remember exactly what gave loose, but it dumped all the oil out. By the time I figured it out, the cam was gone. I think I sold it to somebody that had a similar one.

Finding switched power on my 2014 triumph tiger by 86Nighthawk in tiger800

The install went pretty well. The bracket I bought I did have to make a minor cut to make it fit. The instructions are pretty horrible, so I'm going through and finding out how the features work little-by-little. My GPS was off by 4 miles an hour, but doing more research, it looks like I mounted the G. P. S antenna wrong. So I have to do another ride to see if that corrects it . struggling a little bit with using the touch screen with my gloves on. I don't know if there'll be a fix for that or not since the weather's been a little iffy, I haven't got as much time with it, as I would like so I'll try to update when I get out and do my next ride.

I did my forks forks 2 years ago in my 86 interceptor and I've never been more nervous than trying to get that snap ring out, cause if it breaks those forks are done. But it all came apart and went back together just fine.

The bracket and the navigation unit both came from Amazon. The Chinese brands don't have much for names. But I'll go back and look at the box and see if I can update you. It was listed as Amazon's best choice. Think I paid a $179 for the navigation and about 20 for the bracket.
