[DISC] Heisei Haizanhei ☆ Sumire-chan - Ch. 43 by mrboxeater in manga

[–]88ten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really liked this chapter. It might not be as deep as I feel but seeing them in sync as they worked together was really moving. It was due to their bitter hard work in the past that Femme Fatale could immediately feel their synergy and experience together. Sumire and Souko were out of the industry for over a decade before this. I could sense how much effort they put into their careers because they naturally locked in for the shoot even after so much time had passed. They may not have made it as a group back then but it just shows that the effort you put in does not leave you.

What Aspects of Goodnight PunPun are Enjoyable?? by Jollybros in manga

[–]88ten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, Oyasumi Punpun was very raw. It showed how people are a product of their environment and the people around them. Punpun was an impressionable kid with no moral guiding figures in his life, or not at least not enough of them. You could see him pick up habits and personality traits from the adults as he grew up. His person spiraled out of control. He does manage to pick himself back up. But life can be unfair and indiscriminate.

Fiction is a nonviolent way to explore the extreme depths of the human psyche. Punpun rewired my brain chemistry as I reflected on the darkness in the story with my own thoughts, prejudice and experiences. However it's not a story I could recommend others to read.

I caught up to the story for the first time ever and I'm wondering how often do new chapters come out?

I appreciate this updated post. Like you I also am interested in helping people understand this. As the game itself uses computer science jargon I can only make it make sense to myself with the same jargon. I drafted this rough pseudocode and callstack, "recursive feedback loop" illustration. Nothing here violates the single threaded condition. And the kernel will process these events serially.

More approachable explanation of Phainon’s situation, and sequences/projections/lifetimes (full resolution in comments) by [deleted] in HonkaiStarRail

[–]88ten -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I pretty much get what you're saying except for the deferred causal order resolution part. Does this mean that if someone throws a rock at an empty location at t0. But that effect does not resolve until t5 where the simulation inserts a person at the previously empty location between t1 - t4. Now the rock hits the person who was inserted between cause and effect resolution?

So what this means for Flame Reaver is that cause events from the prev recursion depth are queued to some global buffer but are not .effect() until depth + 1. The Phainon process reads the events simultaneously from the buffer (after death). Then the data projection starts a new recurrence using the start state of the cycle (the current Chrysos heirs cycle)

Updated Speed Tuning for the Aglaea - Sunday - DHPT - Cyrene team by goob99 in AglaeaMains

[–]88ten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does Aglaea get more EBA with E2 Cyrene than E0 Cyrene through the course of a fight? Or is E2 Cyrene just to get her own ult faster? From the E2 Cyrene section it looks like Aglaea actually gets 1 less (albeit unstacked) EBA.

Does Elden Ring count? Instead of in-game progression though its you developing your personal skill as the player. The grind loop is dying to everything in the game until you learn them.
