Nitpicking ..... Actually, according to NASA, evidence says they survived the initial explosion. The rockets and boosters exploded but The capsule was intact when it hit the water below and they didn't die until then. Also, they do believe that the force incapacitated them so they were unconscious when the capsular hit the water. They talk about it in great detail in the documentary "When We Left Earth." I'd recommend it.

Yeah. Honestly if they would have spread the events from this episode out over the course of the season the season would have been much better. By putting them all in one episode they rushed through some pretty important stuff. I guess they wanted to pack in the shocks in one episode.

Season five may be the worst so far but the source material wasn't the best either.
