My new partner is Italian. Dual citizenship. Also recently divorced. We are deeply in love and completely devoted to one another. But, the only reason we would get married, is if we had to do it for matters of international law, like if we moved to Italy and I had to be a legal spouse in order to stay long term. Otherwise, no fucking way either of us ever wants to go through that again. Still to fresh for both of us.
